I love a good wooden toy and this is no exception! I bought it for my two year old and although he can’t assemble everything alone, he has fun with the tools. It’s lightweight and great for ages 2+. It’s cute and made a great little gift!

I really loved this little toy set. It was very sturdy and so colorful! The amount of pieces it contained was just right. Not too many or too few. Very nice toy for the price.

Was given as a gift and I believe my grandson like the toy it is both educational and fun and the quality of it appeared good

Our 16 month old grandchild is JUST getting to the age to really use this toy. She can push the screws through the holes and she likes to play with the wooden pieces and hold and carry the little tools. She’s a bit too little to actually use the tools and combine the wooden pieces but we are sure she will love doing this as she gets older. She loves carrying the tool box full of pieces.

I was picking between this set from Hape and the one from Melissa and Doug. If you pay attention, Melissa and Doug hammer has sharp corners ( if your child will be too into his game , he might accidentally hurt his own face :/). Thus, I went for this one and I don’t regret- quality is awesome, it is pretty sturdy and took a beating from my son without falling apart. You can see some scuffs on the photos- my son spent a lot of time “hammering” and that’s the impact. Looks good, IMO. The packaging box is good for a gift, pretty big and holds shape. Definitely recommend as long as it is under 20$ range. ( I was waiting for promotion and got it at around 16$).

The 4 stars is for the product itself. It's a very nicely made tool box, good size for my two year old, and the tools are a good size and seem good quality (I haven't given it to her yet). As others have mentioned, there are two bolts that are plastic. Everything else is wood. I don't mind, and I'm sure the plastic makes them usable. I really like the vibrant colors, and I am a fan of Hape toys in general. I do wish it came with more screws and nails (it includes two each), which brings me to my issue with the order... the product page when I bought it clearly said it's a 30 piece set, and it's not. There are 14 pieces in the box, and the box clearly says there are 14 pieces. I don't know where the 30 comes from - even if you counted the toolbox itself as 6 pieces (counting each side, the bottom, and the handle, that would still only be 20, and still misleading.To Amazon's credit, I contacted them and they offered me a return or a partial refund and keep it. I opted to keep it because I know my daughter won't care and I think the price is fair for what I received, but it is disappointing to receive something with less than half as many pieces as promised.

It’s cute, it’s super functional (the screw drivers fit into the screws, the hammer can remove the “nails”, etc. ). Our 15 month old was interested in our real tools, and this was a perfect addition to his toy set to continue nursing his curiosity about household items while keeping him safe. I think the price is reasonable and it fits well on our shelves so it’s easy to store! I love Hape!

The set is very nice and it is a Kid's Wooden Tool Box, not a Kid's Wooden Tea Set for two, as you incorrectly state in the description. Please , make a note.
