While there are a good number of dragons, carps, waves illustrations, the illustrations quality is a mixed bag from rough amateur sketches to more refined one. In the mixed are also Chinese style illustrations and in between some odd doodles that are not Asian at all. For the price it is not too bad, still a decent collection.

I'm not an artist, bought this purely to have fun and experiment/practice coloring (newbie here). Out of 300 unique and awesome pictures yea there are admittedly a few that seem blown up slightly out of proportion, or some that still have some excess black ink (some hair etc.), but its honestly such a small fraction that you cannot dismiss the 295 that are amazingly unique, beautiful, and exciting to color.The amount of pictures this book has to offer for the price as compared to other Japanese inspired coloring books with 1/3 or even less of the amount of pictures available to color for more than half the cost of this book. I think WORTH IT.Ive ordered several other coloring books on Amazon really hoping to get something awesome, but some honestly are so pixelated, or blurry, or blown up to size losing all quality COVERED in black ink... now those other books were disappointments..This one isn't.Use your own judgement on the reviews and be thankful there are reviews and pictures to show because I've made the mistake ordering other books that lack reviews.

Paper is so thin you can see thru it. Not good for markers at all. Variety but not.... mostly koi, oriental maidens, dragons.Some of the pages had print smears. Some of the lines don't match up.... big variation from page to page on line thickness. Some pages have a slight gray background and some of the line print ink is faded or gray. Not much consistency. Some pics are very similar to others, almost exactly.. Probably better for colored pencils only.But I requested refund and received it promptly.

This book has been a thrill filling in its pages. I love Japanese culture and this really captures its beauty is fun and easy to color.

Está muy bien para practicar colorear dragones y peces. Muchas veces. Hasta que salga. Porque son básicamente peces. Y dragones. Y algún pájaro. ¿He dicho ya que hay peces? Y también dragones. Para lo que vale, a mí me vale. Seré una experta en dragones. Y peces... :P

Très beau mais les dessins se ressemble un peut trop

Dieses Malbuch ist mit seinen über 300 Seiten wirklich mal ein dickes Exemplar und hat wirklich ein breitgefächertes Motivsortiment. Von Drachen, Kois, Damen in traditioneller Gewandung, schöne Landschaften bis hin zu Wolken, Wellen und Blumen ist fast alles vertreten. Die Druckqualität ist durchweg gut und nichts ist verpixelt, das Buch wurde wohl nach Aussage vom Anbieter überarbeitet.Das Papier ist schön weiß aber nicht sehr dick. Für Buntstifte und Gelstifte sehr gut. Für Filzstift und Wassermalfarben wohl eher ungeeignet. Da aber jede Seite nur einseitig bedruckt ist schadet es nicht wenn mal etwas durchschlägt.Die Motive sind so unterschiedlich das für jeden was dabei ist. Einige sind einfacher, gut für Anfänger, andere sind sehr filigran und Detailreich, eher für Fortgeschrittene. Der Preis für dieses doch recht umfangreiche Angebot von wahrscheinlich verschiedenen Künstlern ist total OK und daher gebe ich gerne eine Kaufempfehlung.Lieferung ging sehr schnell und die Verpackung war sehr gut. Bin sehr zufrieden :)Nachtrag : Bin nicht mehr so ganz zufrieden. Bin jetzt dabei den ersten Drachen zu colorieren und stelle fest das beim verblenden die schwarze Konturfarbe mit verläuft und das Gelb zu einer gräulichen Masse verläuft. Sehr ärgerlich. Ich colorieren mit Prismacolor. Gibt nun doch einen Stern Abzug.

Marker ink rarely leaks through the pages, and there are so many options to colour. TONS of pages to choose from, and it gives you a lot to do. There are so many little details in the drawings, you can get lost in the pages for hours. Plus the cover feels nice.
