STRONG
Ive been fascinated with the strength and style of these magnets since I saw a friend using them to hold a temporary wall skin in place. I use the to hold metal signage in place, anywhere and everywhere!

Not as advertised, but still great magnets.
I've ordered these a few times, and I do really like them. HOWEVER... they are advertised as 32mm/1.26" (roughly an inch and a quarter, or 1-1/4") in diameter. This is not the case. They are actually closer to 28.5mm/1.125" (roughly an inch and an eighth, or 1-1/8"). This isn't a big deal in a general sense. Honestly, it is a better size for me, personally. But, it became an issue when I used my CNC to carve a recess at the advertised diameter, and it was much too large, causing a large gap to be unavoidably visible on the workpiece. Again, not a huge deal for me, as I was just making some workshop fixtures at the time. But, on a finish-grade client piece, this could have been a costly issue if not caught before carving the recess. To address the issues I've seen in other reviews... I saw a review that mentioned mounting these to a wood strip, and putting that on a fridge, then adding a bunch of weight. The reviewer complained that the fixture slid down the fridge, not staying in place. Allow me to just say: "Duh." These are smooth surfaced. It doesn't matter how much holding power they have. If you put a smooth magnet on a smooth surface and add weight, gravity WILL pull it down. This can be accommodated by putting a very thin piece of antiskid material on the back of the magnet. But, let's not fault the product for not defying physics. Another several reviews mentioned these magnets shattering when screwing them down. These people must be using impact drivers or simply over-torquing them. Again, using common sense and a basic understanding of physics, you can easily sort this out. Simply locate your center point, pre-drill your screw hole like a person with a brain, and then hand drive the screw using a good old fashioned screwdriver. These do not need to be driven in like your life depends on it. Simply drive the screw in until the magnet can no longer wiggle around, then add an extra quarter turn for good luck. I've had exactly zero of these break due to driving the screws, when done properly (and I've used dozens). The bottom line is that these are a great value, and will do what they claim to do, if you aren't dumb. BUT! They are ever-so-slightly smaller than the listing claims. Again, these are actually about 28.5mm/1.125" (1-1/8") in diameter, not the advertised 32mm/1.26" diameter.

Holy cow what a magnet!
These magnets are so strong, you had better be ready for a battle. I used them for a craft project and spent most of my time trying to keep them apart and then pull them apart. Fantastic hold weight wise. Would use again.

Holy magnet, Batman!
Have you ever seen those cartoons where the characters were pulled across the room by a magnet? I’m pretty sure they used these things. Be very careful pulling them apart. After two cracked-past-the-quick fingernails and a nasty blood blister, I learned to slide a piece of plastic between them to get them apart. I’m fact, they come with plastic rings between them but you are a better mom than me if you still know where they all are after two months.

Made of Brittle material
Very strong magnets , good chrome plating... Could use some adhesive pads to prevent scratches... They break very easy if you're not careful to keep them from crashing into each other.

Bigger than described (thumbs up)
Great little magnets. They are not the size of a dime, but the size of a quarter. And they have a strong magnetic pull to them, very nice. Very happy with the purchase. Going to use these to make several hidden pistol mounts. Using a rubberized spray coating to apply a thin layer on them for scratch protection. I recommend these.

Good and strong
Strong magnets but not too strong. You can still get them apart without tools.
