This is a beautiful outdoor wall light fixture. It looks so vintage and clean. The base is made out of what seems to be heavy plastic material. The rest of it would be metal. It feels quite sturdy and doesn't seem to break easily. Installation was quite simple install the bracket, connect your wires and then install the base. Its bright and has not flickered once.

I had some preconceived expectations for a $60 wall lamp, knowing that other brands which look just like this are four to five times as much. I took a chance on these because having just bought the house, we were on a budget, but needed some kind of lighting out front, there being none at all. I chose this design because I thought it went well with the castle-like appearance of the front of the house--a slightly whimsical light, that reminded me of something out of lord of the rings, but not enough so as to be ridiculous or look like a toy. The entire fixture is cast alimnum, except for the mounting plate cover, which is steel, but not cast too thin as to be flimsy or easily broken. There are rubber seals where they need to be too keep the bulb dry, and an appropriate drain hole in case water does get in. Overall they don't look nearly as cheap as they are to buy--unlike similarly priced lights from a big box store, which just look cheap. There were no missing parts, and installation of the actual fixture was a breeze. Preparing for it--drilling a hole through the 1ft thick exterior stone wall, smoothing the area around it for the mounting plate and base cover, mounting a 5" electrical pancake box, running wiring to a new switch and out the hole--all that was a pain. The only parts that came with that i ditched in favor of my own were the mounting screws, I didn't want to use aluminum, I wanted some stronger steel screws holding it all to the wall. I've installed two of these so far, planning a third for the garage door now. So between solid construction and a decent appearance, these are definitely worth the money.

Wanna know why these lights say they're waterproof because they're made out of plastic The entire thing is made out of plastic They're made to look like bronze and they are not metal in any way they do have metal parts in them and they look great.

This lamp is gorgeous. The size is perfect. Not too big but lets itself be seen and it needs to. We put a flickering bulb in it an just wow! Kinda gothic, kinda regal and ancient looking. A very nice accent to our log home. The video doesn’t do it justice but you get the idea.
