Elegantly Simple to Assemble and Use
I'm impressed by the overall quality of this kneeling chair, which tells me Taiwan has high production values. The packing was neat with each part separately wrapped, nothing missing. The wooden supports were already attached, so the only customer assembly needed was inserting eight screws to secure the seat and knee pads. Adjustment is a simple matter of moving the seat up and down via the dowel and pegs. I'm 5ft 1in with short legs and am comfortable at the two bottom levels, but even the top rung could be a tight fit for 6-ft people. I have a slippery carpet protector and a low desk so am not using the casters. I guessed correctly that the design would not put pressure on my knees, but it did make my shins hurt at first because I'm old. I put an extra foam cushion on the knee pad and am training my shins to get used to it and not hinder circulation. Meanwhile I can vary my position by using the chair as a stool with my legs stretched out. My reason for trying this kneeling chair is to vary the position of my knees and hips, which were feeling stressed from sitting in a regular chair, even with an orthopedic cushion. Also, getting up and down with the kneeler is good exercise for my whole body and especially legs. I recommend it for any age, in addition to a traditional chair. I will also be looking out for items made in Taiwan. UPDATE #1 : When I went back to my regular office chair with ergonomic cushion, my knee locked up again, so I know I did the right thing by getting this particular kneeling chair, which happily was also the most affordable. UPDATE #2: My shins have become used to the kneeling, and my knees have not been affected, so I've been able to discard the extra foam "training cushion."

No more back or hip pain!
I had wanted to try a kneeling chair for a very long time. I spend too many hours sitting in front of a computer as part of my job. Because of this and due to an accident years ago, I've been struggling to sit for so many hours on regular chairs, even ergonomic ones. Most especially my hip would be in pain after so many hours sitting at a desk. I didn't want to spend a lot of money before finding out if this other type of chairs would help me. And I wanted to be able to change heights. This chair has exceeded my expectations. It is very light, has three positions, and I can fold it and take it with me to meetings and other places. It fits in my car, under the desk, etc. The only thing to keep in mind is when getting out of it: It is not like a regular chair that you can just walk forward. You're basically getting out of it like you would when getting off a small bike. So you have to be careful not to get your foot stuck. But apart from that, it has been great. It is very sturdy, too. I don't think it can hold a person weighing more than 200 lbs. But I weight 150 lbs and it is holding my weight with no problems. I don't know what were other people's complaints about having to add more cushion to the paddings. I don't have that problem. I think that most people think you have to actually kneel on it, but that's not the case. You have to sit like you would any regular chair and use your knees anc sheens only for balancing yourself. And if you get tired after a while, you can always change it to another position (it has a total of three) and this can help, too. Lastly, I've been asked over and over again if my back doesn't suffer since it doesn't have any back-rest. The answer is no. I sit straight anyway. I always did, even with ergonomic chairs. As a matter of fact, this chair forces me to keep my back straight somehow. It is a good core exercise, too. My only advise is don't try to use it for 8 hours straight when you first buy it. Go back and forth between this and a regular chair until you get used to it. I did that for a week or so; now I hardly ever switch to a regular chair anymore. And don't waste your time buying the fancier ones. This one does the job and it is very affordable.

OK for sitting, with caution, watch your center of gravity. No dancing on the chair !
Just received about an hour ago on time and in good condition. I had some tools lying around and I had read reviews online so it took me about seven minutes to assemble once I got it out of the box. Max Weight Limit is said to be 200 pounds. I am pushing it. I am not overly huge or anything. Just a little obese. Otherwise in pretty good physical form. Flexible, I get around well. Front and Rear Castors: The chair has three height adjustments. On both the lowest adjustment and the highest adjustment the front castors do not have enough weight on them to roll smoothly on my hardwood floors. They are hard little plastic wheels which have a tendency to have a hard time rolling on hard wood floors to start with. With the height adjustment set to the middle notch, everything rolls smoothly. All of these positions have some useful attractiveness. I do not see that the lowest is too low or the highest is too high. Rolling is a convenience when seated but a hazard when mounting, dismounting and leaning away from the chair's footprint, I have already experienced the hazard someone else mentioned about being thrown out of the chair and left rolling on the floor, but not so dramatically. I was rolling forward to get my remote off the TV stand and I leaned forward. The height-stop came out of the slot and the seat collapsed. As I reacted, lurching forward to maintain my balance, the chair shot backwards according to action and reaction rules. My feet were on the ground behind the front bar and with everything else going on I nearly tripped over the chair as it retreated. Be careful leaning forward while seated. I purchased this chair to use with my computer on my big screen TV with wireless mouse and keyboard. There is no place for my keyboard or my mouse, but I am committed. I find I can type just fine with my keyboard on what is left of my highly un-level lap. The mouse always works well on my jeans. Jeans are better than most mouse pads. Again, no place for my mouse. I am thinking that with a short lanyard that attaches to my wrist I can let go of the mouse to type and thin with a little flip, retrieve it yo-yo style. I might just mount the keyboard to a panel that inludes a mouse corral-box with a hand-hole in the back. I can just reach in to use the mouse. Initially I intended to build a little school desk, college desk - like folding side-mounted writing board to attach. I may still take what I have learned and build the next phase from scratch. For one thing, the front wheels should be fixed straight ahead, perhaps lawn-mower wheels. I was thinking that before i ordered this chair, but could not decide if the fixed wheels belonged in the front or in the back. Now I see clearly that with the present geometry they should be in the front. However, for now, I intent to do a little mechanical work on the keyboard case this evening after Big Bang Theory to mount some clips for a guitar strap so the keyboard can hang loosely more or less in place on my lap from around my neck. Still thinking about the mouse ...

Simple, does the job and fairly good on the eyes considering it's not a fancy brand one. This alone doesn't solve all your problems so you do need to still figure out how it works best for you (e.g. what height etc.). I also wouldn't advise sitting on it continuously for more than a couple of hours, make sure you keep moving.

Feels solid and comfortable and easy to put together. Let down by poor instructions and the "spanner" provided to attach the wheels is laughable! Packaging by Amazon could have been better, package arrived damaged and partly broken open, however the contents were fortunately complete and undamaged as packaging from Flash Furniture protected them.
