If you need cooling air on your back, put the air intake up rather than down (behind your neck, not under your knees.) In other words, flip the unit "upside down" so that the intended neck area of the device is under your knees, and the fan intake is behind your neck. Otherwise, the air won't travel to your back, it will stay under your thighs. The cord barely reaches this way unless you have a rear seat cigarette lighter outlet. It is noisy, but I can actually feel the air on my back through my shirt. I drive all day in Florida with frequent stops, so my back gets hot, hopefully this device will last a long time.

i'll try to keep it simple, i don't write reviews often. you sit on it, turn it on, and all the air escapes out of the exposed holes, and the holes you happen to be blocking don't allow air through (obviously) the back/shoulder ports don't work unless your sitting away from your seat. and no, it doesn't produce even cooled air, had my ac on max, on the feet/floor option only, and the seat cover still couldn't pull any cool air more air comes out of the suction fan than what goes in when sitting on this device honestly for 30$ more i found one that actually works https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C27GN7BW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details <if anyone is interested the back portion doesn't work all that great on this one but the seat provides cool/cold air regardless of what mode you set your ac

I bought this for my brother because he had so much trouble with his back sweating in his car seats. Wasn't sure it would really work, but he let me know that it works really well! He was loving it! The one thing you have to be sure of is that you don't have any kind of material hanging down in front of it, example: skirt, dress, etc. Other than that, it's great!!

I really wanted to like this seat cover and wanted it to work. This seat cover was so close to resolving the issue with my '19 Mazda MX-5 - but came up about 4 inches too short (*cough*). The seat cover actually looks respectable, build quality is decent, and blends reasonably with black leather seats. But, here's the big problem: 1. Seat cover is about 4 inches too short. The intake fan sits on top of the seat, between your thighs. It SHOULD be hanging in front of or below your seat to work intake air properly and for comfort. My coupe has relatively standard length seats, and I sit mostly upright - so that's not the issue, 2. Sliding the seat cover down so the intake fan sits properly means the middle and upper part of the pad sit too low. Since the cover wasn't really meant to be positioned this way means restricted airflow to the upper part of the seat cover, Some miscellaneous nuisances: A. High/low on the in-line power switch seems to change fan speed. Not such a big deal except, B. The fan is very buzzy/noisy. The only good part is it appears to be a standard 80mm PC 12V PC intake fan. One could probably replace it with a better fan. Returning the seat cover for reasons 1 & 2 above, unfortunately.

So after reading reviews on many car seat coolers, i decided on this one. The biggest thing i saw people complain about was that it didn't cool very well, but than i read you have to have the feet setting on AC on for this fan to get cool air circulated. This is correct. Its a bit loud, but if you have music on its fine. The seat cools nicely , the back portion not as much. It does adjust your mirrors when sitting on this, I feel about an inch higher, but over all comfy, your butt portion fits the entre car seat cushion so your not hanging off on the sides. all in all worth the money. Nice for the summer so you don't sweat thru your shorts :P

I got this for one of my kids as a birthday gift and the top doesn't work that well bit the bottom blower works great not happy about this

I was skeptical that this would collapse under my 250lb weight. But it has held up well for several months now. It blows enough air to keep my butt and back dry on long drives. The fan is a little loud but after a few minutes I don't notice it. When this one finally bites the dust I will buy another one.

Not the most comfortable pad. But, my tush adapted. Keeping my back & tush from sweating - especially during "hot flashes" is GREAT

I was very skeptical, but gave it a try. I’m a heavy guy(220lbs). My back gets very hot when I drive so I needed something. First try it didn’t seem to work, but I think I had the bottom straps too tight preventing the airflow. Next day I turned the truck on before getting in allowing it to inflate. Worked pretty good, the a/c was on so I was starting with cold air, but still quite impressed. Colour blends right in with black leather seats so it looks good. It’s not quiet, but with family and radio you can’t even hear it.

Useless. As soon as you sit on it you block all the ports and it doesn't have enough power for you to feel it. You have to lean forward to feel the fans on the back. And unless you're wearing something super thin, or shorts you won't feel the seat fans at all.

مضيعة للمال.. تصميم غبي ..المروحة تعمل ولكن الهواء يصل للفتحات فقط اذا لم تجلس على المرتبة!! بمجرد ان تجلس الهواء لا يمر للفتحات حتى لو وضعت المروحه على اعلى سرعه مجرد ازعاج بلا فائدة.

I originally have ordered two of these but the first two were not functioning well, so I ordered a third. Function: Small vent/fan at the bottom of the seat cushion that sucks in air and redistributes it through various holes near the legs, lower and upper back. From my experience, the fan is quite loud, but the air does circulate to my lower legs. I did find once I sit on the cushion, the air gets restricted and doesn’t really come up to my back, so it’s mostly for my legs. I would give it a 6.23/10 for function Things to keep in mind, this doesn’t provide cold air, simply recirculating the air by sucking it in and shooting it back out. Also, this does not come with a wall plug, it uses a car charger, you must purchase a separate adapter to use it within the home, I find that it wasn’t clear in the ad. Overall, I would recommend this for someone who is looking to reduce back sweat when sitting down to longer periods of time for a decent price.
