Very Bright - Easy to Swap In
I had two fluorescent fixtures winking out and decided to swap in LEDs. These units are much brighter than the fluorescent tubes they replaced, and with half the energy consumption. I went with "Daylight" which is a very stark white color. This is what I wanted for the laundry room and garage, but you may consider softer colors for other living environments. Wiring :: bottom line - each bulb needs 120V across it, so figure out what you have have and wire accordingly. The instructions did not cover my particular setup. Both of my fixtures had 2 yellow wires on the "far end" daisy chained to both receptacles, and 2 red and 2 blue wires on the primary end, each to a single receptacle. I wired the neutral (white) to the yellow wires (all 3 wires into a wire nut), and the switched hot (black) to both blue and red wires (all 5 wires into a wire nut). May seem weird but electrically, that is how it needed to be. I removed the ballasts and sent them to copper recycling.

Great quality product
Just got my lights delivered and installed 4 days ahead of time due to the fast shipping. Anyway, the lights are just what I was looking for. The quality of the light is very solid and sturdy. I needed a 24 inch light and it fit perfectly.

Working so good so far
Just installed it. Working good so far. Will update the review if it goes bad. I bought 2 of the "warm white" bulbs for $9.98 each. Shipping was $6.35 (you still pay for shipping even if you're Amazon prime member, because this is not direct from Amazon) so my total bill for the 2 bulbs was $26.31. The package comes compact and well protected (see pic). It does clearly say a warning that you must remove the old ballast before you put in the new bulbs. Installation for me was a bit tricky removing the old ballast and rewiring the black and white wires direct to the terminals which hold the bulbs. The old ballast was directly wired to the terminals with extreme short length wires. This means, cutting the ballast out left me with really short length wires to work with when rewiring it for the LED bulbs. I had to add wires that I had spare laying around the house. I was lucky that I had some spare wires in the house, or else would of been anoying to make a trip to Lowe's for just a measly 6 or 8 inches of wire. I blame the manufacturer of the fixture and not the LED bulb manufacturer for this issue. I assume when the lifespan of the ballast was over, they expected the customer to just throw away the whole fixture instead of replacing the ballast. All said and done I was $26 into this project with adding some 6 or 8 inches of spare wire I had. I'm not sure if maybe it would of been cheaper if I just looked for a $20 LED light fixture. However, this worked at the end of the day. I didn't have to cover any old fixture mounted holes or make new ones in the wall. The light coming from these bulbs competes very well with the old fluorescent bulbs. I'm happy overall that it works for now, and I don't have to deal with a ballast breaking again.

Good Light, matches advertised specs, wiring changes required, but very simple.
Replaced a T12-20 in a range hood application. These are very price comparable to traditional 3000K fluorescent bulbs. Wiring was a bit more complicated due to the mess of wires in the fixture for the fan, etc, but once I traced and drew out a schematic (only to find a schematic sticker on the fixture, doh!), it took less than 5 minutes to do the install. Light output is nearly identical to a new 20W fluorescent tube. No flickering or noise. Warm (3000K) color is a pretty good match to the 3000K T8 fluorescent under cabinet lights that it's near, but with an ever so slight greenish tinge that you probably wouldn't notice if there weren't other lights right next to it. I'm happy, and I hope it lasts a long time.

Great little upgrade to existing fixtures.
I was a bit hesitant about the light. Wasn't sure if it would be bright enough or durable. Will take a while to find out on durable but it puts out a decent amount of light. I was hoping for more but it puts out about what is claimed. The installation was extra easy. Was literally done in less than 5 minutes. Was happy to see that you just had to wire one power lead to each end of the light and that it didn't matter which end they were hooked to. I simply snipped the wires connecting to the ballast then removed the screw holding it in. Stripped the snipped wires and reused the wire nut that was already there. My light housing had 2 wires on one side and 3 on the other. I wired all of them on each side to one of the leads and screwed on the wire nut. Popped the cover back on and inserted the light bulb replacement. I did have to pull the ends out just a little for the bulb to go in on both sides. I installed two of these already and had to bend the ends a little on both. My have just been my light fixtures. Your mileage may vary... Overall, great little light for the price. Only thing that could be better would be higher lumen output but it would use as much power as a fluorescent then.

Easy install for a DIYer.
4000K works well in the kitchen but I wouldn’t go any higher than that. It’s easy to wire the black to one end and the white to the other after cutting out the ballast. I used WAGO’s instead of wire nuts. It was my first time to use WAGO’s and they are so easy to use. In this low amp draw application I have no concern at all. The awful flickering and buzzing is history! I’m slowly converting all my fluorescent fixtures, as they fail, to LED. This ballast looked like it was from the Eisenhower administration!! Be sure to use the same color temperature in every fixture in a room. Some reviewers had failures, my first ones still work after 5 years and I put in a new one today.

Well Made and Delivers
I bought these to replace some 24" fluorescent tubes in a ballast system. So happy I finally switched over to LED. I did a complete rewiring of the setup because the old wires were really old and I wanted to switch to new wires for this new setup. Super easy to do with double ended LED tubes and non-shunted tombstones. I really like the even lighting on these tubes and the construction is well made. Having the entire backside of the tube made of aluminum doubles as heatsink is a great design. The tubes are room temperature at best after running for extended periods of time. Definitely will buy again.
