You can take a chance
The first fan I bought was perfect and then I bought a second one that also quit months later but that was fine with me. The third fan I bought wasn’t working a few days in and I sent it back. If you want a cheap fan with an ok motor then you should try this. I would only say the piece that fastens the blade to the motor I had to try and tighten that multiple times.

Eazy Breezy
I dislike constantly using an air conditioner all summer. Our windows are closed all winter. I want some fresh air! So I wanted something to cool off our bedroom. This did the job. In fact it did the job so well, I ordered a second for another room in our house! When my kid plopped himself on the couch with the fan going I heard.... Ahhh, this is just right.Goes together easy. Packed well.

Poor quality. Broke immediately.
This fan was easy enough to assemble, but I almost lost the tiny screw and nut from the bottom of the fan cover and it was a little difficult to screw that in but luckily I had an eyeglasses screwdriver set that did it. I thought that the cover for the remote control was missing and then saw that it is designed to be backless, perhaps to keep the remote from overheating, but I'm not sure. That's probably not safe for homes with kids or pets who may eat the batteries if not watched. It would be nice if there was a space on the fan to store the remote so when I take it to my mom's house or move it to different rooms, and store it away for the winter, it will be easy to find. The fan works well and it's fairly quiet. Having the remote makes it great so I can adjust it while sitting on the couch and leave it in the corner. I think it's a good purchase so far, but today is only the first day using it. Hopefully there won't be any issues. This fan lasted one day and then the top broke. It was top heavy and just fell forward without even being touched. It was just on and then fell forward and the top cracked. I'm sending it back. Don't waste time and money buying this.

Cooling fan
Pretty good little fan it’s a little flimsy, but I guess for what I paid for it. It was a good price. It’s pretty much plastic.

Good for keeping cool
Nice and quiet with good fan performance and cools well. Doesn't use a lot of power but still functions really well. Used it almost constantly for a few months now and still working perfectly.

I’d choose a different fan.
It’s a decent fan, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Only one of my issues with it are what I feel is quality/design related. The other is personal preference.1) The stand is poorly designed. The pocket that the post sits in on the motor body is too shallow. As a result the motor body sits floppy on the post. It doesn’t affect performance. But it’s flimsy. And it’s easy to not get it at all of the way seated and then it’s floppy. It leans.2) The speeds are too high. Even running on the lowest I have to be careful where I aim it in my office. From 8 feet away it blows stuff around my workspace.

A little wobbly
On medium its a little wobbly, and on high its really wobbly. That being said, it's still worth it for such a cheap price.

Never seen a more cheaply made fan
Good grief this thing is cheaply made! There are 2 areas where you are supposed to be able to lock in the post to the motor & the base, but they do not tighten completely & will just fall apart when I pick it up to move it. The post is cheap, thin aluminum & just dents where you tighten it, but still won't stay put. The front grille is bigger than the cheap plastic back grille, so it was very difficult to put together & wouldn't secure on one side. The button panel looks like something from the 1970's. The base is flimsy as heck. The air flow is good. That's all it has going for it. It should cost 35% less than it does, esp without a remote. It is not a good deal. I bought a different one last year for the same price, and it's much, much higher quality, but most fans come with a big round base these days, and I needed one with this type of base so it would fit better in front of a corner.
