I've used a lot of different salts over the years—basic table salt, kosher salt, even fancy pink Himalayan—but Redmond Real Salt is genuinely my favorite. I was skeptical at first, but the difference in taste and quality is noticeable. The first thing you'll notice is the flavor. It has a subtle, almost sweet taste to it that enhances the food without just making it "salty." It really does seem to bring out the natural flavors in meats and vegetables. The biggest selling point for me is that it's completely unrefined. It's mined from an ancient seabed in Utah, so it's free from modern pollutants and doesn't have any of the anti-caking agents or other additives you find in regular table salt. We love this salt. We get it in this two pack because it seems to be the best price for the quantity. It is in an easy pour package which is nice. It is super high quality. I would mention that it is true, from-the-ground salt. With that said, sometimes there are teeny tiny hard pieces. 99.999% of the time it isn't noticeable at all. But I don't use this salt when making something that is very soft (like deviled eggs) because you might get a hard piece and people think it's a piece of a shell. Deviled eggs are the only foods that I choose a different salt for. If you don't make deviled eggs, or other very soft foods then disregard what I said. But this salt on/in literally everything else is superb and I would give a higher rating if I could. I use it in my homemade seasoned salt, homemade hot cocoa mix, on pizza, in all my baking and breads, literally everything. I use it daily. I know that there are other natural minerals and such in it, which is cool, but the taste is amazing. Love!

This is a great quality salt in some classy packaging that looks great. We have been really trying to be better at getting minerals in our bodies. I put this into all of our water bottles including my kids. And they never complain about it or taste it. They've gotten to the point that they know that I do it and don't care. We also sprinkle it on food and I think it is an easy way to get some extra minerals in our bodies. And it is a very high quality salt. I'm also glad that it is from America. I don't know that I can say that we have noticed and intense change in our daily lives but I like thinking that we have added some minerals to our bodies for the better. I am grateful for the size of the bag that we will be able to use it for some time to come. I'm also grateful that I got it at a good time when it was on sale and that's why I opted for the bigger bag so it is a great value. It has an awesome pour spout that has a good twisted seal. And overall you could pretty much use it for cooking with or sprinkling on food or whatever you would like.

Love this salt and have been using it for years. Love the quality, flavor and it’s very clean. I also love the packaging because of the easy to open pour top. I like the convenience of it coming every 2 months so I put it on auto ship awhile back. 16 oz is the perfect size for a month of cooking and table. My husband also adds it to water after a workout to help hydrate. I love that it is mined so I feel it has less micro plastics. We also buy Redmond Re-lite which is an electrolyte. All and all Redmond has great products!

I love Redmond Real Sea Salt. I use this as part of my seasoning combination every time that I cook. The quality of the salt is always top notch and adds a great flavor to just about anything. I combine with ground black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to season most of the meat and fish that I cook. This salt also works well for canning and preserving the fresh vegetables I harvest from the garden. Especially when I make pickled cucumbers and beets. The salt content is just right for me, may be stronger that your average salt, but the quality is top-notch. I do not use any other brand for my salt needs. Highly recommend!

Great taste and so much better than table salt. If the bag arrives with salt blocks, just bash them to produce the salt. No biggie. One thing, if you only use Redmond Real Salt with your food, supplement your body with a drop of iodine in your coffee, as this salt doesn't have the all-important iodine.

Of all the salts this is probably the healthiest. Only a tiny tiny amount is necessary. Everyone uses waaaaaY too much salt and there is great ignorance about the fact that sodium is naturally in most veg and other food stuffs as is sugar. When we add more it’s too much and the body becomes toxic and sends signals that get ignored or more stuff that does more harm gets chugged back. If you are familiar with homeopathics or aspirin the size is tiny and the effect big. Why would we expect a massive wedge of dessert or etc to not affect us too?

Für mich das beste Salz. Vollständig naturbelassen, passt geschmacklich sehr harmonisch zu allem. „Normales“ Salz schmeckt im Vergleich regelrecht hart. Durch die rosa Mineralien-Einschlüsse sehr gut beim Salzen zu sehen und dadurch besser dosierbar.
