Exactly what it was supposed to be, and what I expected. I love the product! Perfect for my mid sized balcony. Inised an 18" diameter and 12" deep bowl. The sound is great! Louder than I expected however pacing a rock or other object in the water (in my case a stone black Halloween cat- I know, it's funny and only temporary lol) , to slightly break the fall of the water stream allows me to regulate how loud it is. Over splash isn't bad. The pump is very strong for being so small. Perfect! The reason for 4 stars is that the plastic connector coupling is too large on one end to connect the plastic tube. I had to tape it directly to the pump. Also the standing arm could be held in place better, but it stands as long as I don't move the pump. This can also be corrected easily with some wire rigging. I purchased the 18" tall fountain. Someone less handy may find the few minor shortcomings more of a problem than I did. Over all nearly perfect product, fast shipping and very aesthetically pleasing. It goes perfectly it my Buddhist / Asian like theme. See the video I have posted.

Received the bamboo fountain quickly, assembled easily, and turned it on--no water. The pump seemed not to work. Did troubleshooting steps, still didn't work. Contacted seller--he was so gracious, and immediately sent me a new pump. Everything works beautifully now. The bamboo fountain is simply elegant, sounds and looks beautiful, and the birds love it. We used it in a large copper basin, partially submerged in the ground. I am so impressed with this product and customer service.

I love this thing. This is my 2nd one however. It gets mildew way too soon and after a few years it clogs up so you have to buy a whole new one. When this one goes I will likely buy something else.

I had this thing going all the way into the fall. I listen to it outside of my sunroom window and didn’t have but one problem. I just needed to clear a little bit of debris out of the pipeline there one time other than that, it brought me a lot of pleasure. It’s so easy to have your own container. You could just use one of your own pots and plug the hole up in your own containers. Easiest that throw some stones around it and you’ve got yourself. Your own little waterfall makes a wonderful sound. I like it very much and will be putting it out next year. Thank you.

useful and not expensive

I ordered it from Estonia (south of Finland) via Amazon (of course) on Monday and I received the kit on Friday the same week. So this was my first surprise and joy. Next was how large the product actually was (I ordered the 18 inch) and it really was as easy to assemble as promised. Even for a single woman without a male assistance. I got it event to work for like 4 minutes before the electric socets gave up. Turned out that we in Estonia have a different electric system. BUT nevertheless, I will buy a new pump and I am extremely happy with this fountain. I can rebuild my fountain every summers if or as I wish.... Thank you!

I ordered this to replace a table top fountain I was returning which was too quiet. I purchased a separate pot to use with this pump and it has great flow volume --the bamboo spout just has a better flow and the water sound audible, eben on an outside table. I am really happy with it...just a slight adjustment to the height, hook up the hose, plug in and instant water flow. I just have to find some stones and water plants and I will have a mini oasis! All that I expected!

My mom had a previous bamboo one and needed a replacement, this was the closest we could find. She couldn't justify the price, but I could tell she really wanted it, so I bought it for her. A bit pricey, but my mom received it and said "it's perfect", also customer service was awesome, when we had some issues with shipping addresses and I couldn't rescind and fix my mistake on my own. They responded right away and got it going to the right spot.

I put it in a deep ceramic, tree planter filled with water and makes it work well as a water feature. Finding a significant enough spout for a bigger water fountain has been not easy and this one works well. I needed though to use two zip-ties around the two bamboo rods that support the large spout because it wobbled without the added support but it was an easy an cheap fix. Also added some large weave bamboo lattice from the garden store over the rest of the large opening so the birds would not fall in and drown. The trickling sound adds to the ambiance. The little pump has worked well.
