these gloves work well for me at the range with my ar. now these will fit tight if you go by the chart , so if you want them a tad loser go one size up . I like my gloves tight . These do not work with phone screens but I am going to put a small dab of silicone on a finger tip so I can use the screen . as for being slash proof , well I believe they would stop some of it , I picked up some sheet metal for a project and these did well with the sharp edges . great Velcro tab to secure them . we will see how time is on them on the streets.

Just picked up these gloves. I was hesitant at first because of the Amazon reviews, although there were only 6. I searched the web a little and thought I'd give these gloves a try. So far I like them. I'll be using them for motorcycle riding and for protection. I ordered a size L which fit well. The gloves are slightly thick at the edge of the finger tips which is fine for my use. The gloves fit snug without any slop. The velcro works well and the overall design of the glove is very good. I was able to tie my shoelace and use a toothpick with the gloves on. I was also able to open a tight fitting stiff 2" small pocketknife, showing the gloves dexterity and grip. *From the Tech card that came with the gloves: Abrasion resistance Level 4 Cut resistance Level 5 Tear resistance Level 4 Puncture resistance Level 2 *Level 5 offers the most protection. One important note: Safariland, the manufacturer of Hatch Gloves can use some costumer service improvement. Prior to ordering the gloves, I called with some questions, and I was assured by the representative that he knew the SGX11 gloves well. During our 10 minute conversation I could tell that he didn't know much about the gloves and was just improvising. For example, he said there wasn't any protection on the top of the gloves. When I received the gloves I saw that the Dyneema liner is sewn throughout the entire interior of the glove, providing protection 360°, so any part of your hand which the glove covers is protected, including your fingers, palm and top of your hand. I didn't want to call the rep on the carpet so I thanked him for his help. This was only one rep. Perhaps if I called back and spoke to another, I'd get more accurate information. I'll add to the review as I get to wear the gloves more often. 11/7/14 - I was looking over the gloves as it is now daylight and I noticed a stitching issue in the part of the left glove wear the velcro pulls the 2 sides together. Around the curved portion at the base of the thumb the stitching is coming apart approx. 1/4" in length. This will only get larger asyou wear the glove. The right glove stitching appears to be fine. I'll post 2 photos if I'm able to. If you order these gloves take a careful look at the stitching in the daylight to be sure there are no defective areas in the stitching. I just placed an order for a replacement pair and hopefully the stitching will be fine. I've downgraded my rating to 4 stars due to the defective stitching. 11/11/14 - I received my 2nd pair. The stitching is fine but the right hand index finger spandex has 4 small pulled tufts of threads, as if the glove got caught on something. Possibly a previously returned glove? I did an exchange and the 3rd pair is perfect. Quality control seems to be a little lacking, so if you order these gloves just give them a good look over. Now that I have a good pair, hopefully they will last a while. They are comfortable to wear and nimble enough to take a dime out of a jeans coin pocket with them. They are not the thinnest of gloves, and with the Dyneema lining 360° on the inside they shouldn't be. But they are not bulky at all and fit very snug. For the full Level 5 cut & slash protection they offer, I'm very satisfied

I usually buy hatch gloves in a local uniform supply store, but couldn't get away to buy any this time, so I bought these online. These dyneema gloves are WAY thicker than I thought. I don't get much mobility with these on. Figure out which side of the coin you want -- flexibility and the protection of leather, or stiff gloves and the extra protection of dyneema. They loosened up a LITTLE bit over about a year, but are still quite tough.

３０年前に買ったのが、さすがにほつれが出来てきたので買い直しました。２千円くらいのグローブは切られることには対抗できますが、刺されることには対抗できません。その点、この製品は彫刻刀やカッターナイフが突き刺さることにも対抗できますので、むしろお得です。値段が高くても、１年に３００円と割り切れば高くはありません。何か危険が予期される行為、例えばカボチャを切るとか、ストーブを分解するとか、有刺鉄線を張るとか、ガラスを捨てるとかの場合に装着すると、する必要の無い怪我を回避できます。 なおジャストサイズなので、Ｍの人はＬを買った方が装着が楽です。

Los compré porque con mis viejos guantes Dragon de cuero no tenía casi tacto del arma y en los cacheos no tenías buena percepción. Pero estos con una pasada. No pesan nada. Son lavables y tienes un tacto y una flexibildad sorprendente. Muy recomendables.

Hatte bereits dieses Modell und war so davon überzeugt, dass ich mir die gleichen Handschuhe nochmals gekauft habe. Nach über 10 Jahren häufigem Gebrauch ging beim Vorgänger der Innenhandschuh defekt (hatte Löcher an der Fingerkuppe des Zeigefingers), die Schnittschutzeinlage hält nach wie vor.

In meinem Job hat man häufiger mit unangenehmen Leuten zu tun, die nicht so tolle „Werkzeuge“ mit sich führen. Um meine Hände richtig zu schützen habe ich mir diese Handschuhe ausgesucht, da diese nicht nur schnitthemmend, sondern auch bedingt stichhemmend sein sollen. Wer sich schonmal in die Handinnenfläche geschnitten oder gestochen hat, weiß wie schmerzhaft das ist. Wer sich mit der Thematik Messer beschäftigt hat dem ist klar, dass er nicht unverletzt aus einem solchen Angriff herauskommt. Somit ist ein bestmöglicher Schutz in Eigenregie (wenn der Arbeitgeber nicht etwas mindestens Gleichwertiges anbietet) unumgänglich. Pro: - Liegen eng an, machen einen soliden, sauber verarbeiteten Eindruck. - Haben auch bei Einsätzen noch keine Schäden davon getragen. - Sehen gut aus, wirken martialisch. - Keine störenden Nähte im Innenfutter. - Handfeuerwaffen können mit diesen Handschuhen durch Übung gut bedient werden. - Polsternde Wirkung bei Ein-/Schlägen. - Die Innenflächen sind mit einem Gummiartigen material beschichtet, durch welches das Greifen von Gegenständen erleichtert wird. - Keine Quarzsandeinlagen oder Ähnliches verbotenes. - Leichter Stichschutz. - Schnitt- und Stichschutz um die komplette Hand herum und nicht wie so oft bei anderen Modellen nur an den Handinnenflächen. Contra: - Wer seine Handgröße nicht richtig messen kann, kauft garantiert zu kleine Handschuhe. - Gutes Abtasten ist durch die Dicke der Handschuhe (dies ist natürlich der hohen Schutzklasse geschuldet) unmöglich. - Feinmotorik (zB Handfesseln anlegen) ist stark eingeschränkt, da feines Gefühl fehlt.(s.o.) - Hoher Preis. Fazit: Hoher Preis für wirklich gute Qualität! Die Handschuhe begleiten mich nun seit längerem und haben sich schon bewährt. Auch wenn die Feinarbeit damit schwierig ist, der hohe Schutz ist unbezahlbar und damit zumutbar! Wenn dieses Paar mal verschlissen ist, dann kaufe ich garantiert nochmal dieses Modell!
