Nature's Way Probiotic Pearls Women's, Could Support a Favourable Gut Flora, Shelf Stable, 30 Softgels

I'm not sure why exactly, but I deal with BV. I have for years, but since the birth of my daughter, every single month. Whether it's caused by diet, stress, using tampons, I'm not sure. My doctor was constantly refilling my perscription for treatments. Sometimes they didn't work, other times they'd work for a few days, then I'd have the horrible BV all over again. I went through an entire box of this product and I didn't see any results. I contacted my doctor and she gave me her approval that it was safe to take two pearls per day. Within a few days, it WORKS!!!!! I do not eat yogurt, and when I do it's seldom. Who wants to down it all day long anyway??? Seriously, everyone needs to know how well this stuff works. After conducting further research, I realized that not only does this support good bacteria and pH balance in your system, it removes toxins from you body, the right way! These toxins are going to make their way out either way. I'm going to be blunt: if you are experiencing BV, and have the added discomfort of constipation, the toxins in your body will come out another way. One way is that your skin will break out! I take two pills per day, have yet to experience constipation or BV, and my skin is clearer and smoother than it's been in a long time! You really ought to try this stuff out! Do further research if you feel it's necessary. Staying informed on what you put in your body is a huge positive. You can even contact the company and they will answer any questions you may have. I was told I'd get a free sample of the product. I never did it but anytime they are willing to provide a free sample, that's saying the company really backs up their product and believes in its effectiveness. I'm a firm believer. I've been using it for 6 months and will continue to. I'm telling all my lady friends about it too!!!

I am a 40 yr old female. I took some antibiotics last year and OMG!!! I came down with the first and most painful yeast infection ever. I have NEVER had one until age 40!!! "I went to my OB/GYN, my PCP, and a specialist because they kept reoccurring. They ALL prescribed diflucan and said that was the best they know how to do. I started my own research and when the connection was made in my head that the problem is inside with a yeast & ph imbalance- I understood that diflucan might correct the problem temporarily however it will reoccur because the issue has not been remedied. I started taking these little pearl probiotics and witin 24 hrs I started to feel a difference. I have taken them for a week and symptoms are clearing up completely. I would give this product 5 stars but the jury is still out to see if the yeast is under control and does not reoccur.... If you are desperately seeking relief... try these. You have to regulate your yeast from the inside and these little pearls seem to help.

This review is of the shipment only, I just started taking it so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the product just yet. I will update in 30 days on that information.This came in standard mail in one of those envelopes with the bubble wrap inside meant to cushion. However, when I opened the envelope the package was flat as a pancake. I was shocked that the pills were not all smashed from its shipment. Which is why I didn't just give it 1 star.Going forward if I find I like the Enzymatic Therapy Pearls I will just look for it in a drug store or something though. I would not recommend buying online if you can pick it up locally.

I am currently trying Pearls YB and my yeast infection was back within 3 weeks. After this I am going to try Rephresh to see how that goes. I am using Pearls alternately with Ultimate Flora 15 Billion, washing with Vagisil, and using Vagisil deodorant powder to keep me dry since yeast love moisture. I must admit, my ph was a lot better and discharge/odor/yeast problems were gone for a whole 3 weeks. I'm also taking daily mutli-vitamins.For next month, I will try using Rephresh with Ultimate Flora 25 billion alternately with the routine washing and deodorant. Instead of regular daily vitamins, I will switch to Women's daily vitamins and for days I don't shower, I'll use vagisil wipes. I'll see how much that changes things and will be sure to update. But I can say for sure, these probiotics and vitamins have done so much more than doctor prescribed oral meds.UPDATE: I have continued Pearls YB and Ultimate Flora 15 with Vagisil wash and Women's One-A-Day vitamins. The results are great! I am changing from 3 to 5 stars. Have not had another yeast infection for almost 2 months now which is amazing. Still no discharge or bad odor and best of all, no discomfort after sex or periods and ph balance is, well, balanced! No more gyn visits and CVS runs for cream :)

Definitely nothing spectacular here. I fell into the marketing trap with the pretty little pearl design. They have a very narrow selection of strains, and a low potency. 1 billion cultures may seem like a lot, but products with 10x as many viable cultures in a wider range of strains are readily available for not much more than this product. I took these for the full month and noticed no difference in my issues...The pros are they are very small and easy to swallow, they are enteric coated so they survive your stomach acid, and they are pretty.
