Can I steam frozen vegetables in it?

I use it to steam frozen veggies all the time. They are perfect! Just put veggies in, add some water, cover and steam in microwave. I absolutely love this steamer. Probably use it 5-6 times a week.

It states on the description that it is BPA free.

Cookware information should include capacity in cups/quarts. ?

I bought the larger size for larger vegetable such as asparagus and carrots. Nothing came with this item suggesting how much water to put in or how many vegetables to put in. I used it once and I will use it. You will have to experiment with the water level. Keep the water level super low and do not drown your vegetables. I am glad I got this item. However, use your hot mitts when taking the silicone steamer out of the microwave. Once you bump the lid, the hot steam will come out. The steam is super hot and you could burn your hands. This is a keeper.

How to use? Need to add water?

I use a little water. You don’t need much water, though. I was told you don’t have to add water, but I do.
