Q: Is kicking horse columbian or arabica?

Q: Strange question, is there a correct way to open the pouch so that I can reseal it?

Not that I know of. I simply cut off the top, then pour beans into a large jar that seals when closed. If the jar does not hold the full amount in the bag, I role the top of bag down, tightly, and store the bag inside a zip lock bag. It is for sure that these coffee bags do not have a good open-close method!

Q: How "oily" are these beans (3 Sisters)? Interested in how they will fare in a fully automatic machine.

We have been using these beans in our machine for years. They very very slightly oily but the machine has never had a problem with them. Actually, they work great and are the darkest roast that we have been successful with in our machine consistently.

Q: Is this coffee tested for mold and toxins?

If it has mold or toxins it sure is damn good
