This fish oil is outstanding for children! I have given this exclusively to my children since the age of 3. My children are now 6 and 8. They have tried both the strawberry and lemon flavors with lemon being their favorite. The "fish" pills are soft and easy to chew. The odor is minimal and they taste great to the kids. The odor does not linger and there is not an offensive after taste. My kids take two "fish" pills (as they lovingly call them) every morning. I've noticed a great improvement in my son's mental clarity since he started taking these at age 3 (he's now 8). He boarders on the ADHD side and these definitely make a noticeable difference. I buy in quantities of 5-6 bottles at a time because the price is so great and each bottle has an impressive expiration date so it works out well to keep these on hand in bulk. These are the ONLY "fish" pills I will ever give my kids. Nordic Naturals has a great line and the quality is unbeatable!

Easy to swallow and effective.

I purchased this for my children, but I have taken a couple of capsules to experience them for myself. These are great! When you open the bottle there is the slightest fishy smell, but only barely. I chewed the capsule to see what the flavor of the fluid was and it was surprisingly citrus flavored, not strongly so, but enough. My kids like these and consider them 'treats'. My 18 month old struggles a bit to penetrate the gel capsule but he can get it chewed and eaten with a little effort, he does like them. They don't seem to suffer any side effects from taking these. I think the health benefits are there, my kids suffer with eczema and this product is the only kids product I was able to find that had GLA in it's formula. It's hard to say how much these have directly improved my children's skin because we are pursuing many other treatments, but we have noticed their skin get much softer, so I think these are effective. Thank you Nordic Naturals for making good reliable products for my children!

I recommend you for your childrens

Quality product. My five year old has been taking these for less than a week now. He is able to swallow them pretty well. Honestly, I was impressed by the my kids skills with these capsules. When my three year old twins saw the 5 year old taking these, they of course wanted them. I was worried about how it would go but decided to let them have one each. It was fine! They took their time and had a cup of water to drink them down with. Today one of the three year olds had another but ended up chewing it. She pulled the outer layer of the capsule out and handed it to me. It's the first time it's happened. They like the taste of it, too. The only reason I only put up four stars is because I am waiting to see if this helps the 5 year old's inattentiveness. I ordered a size that should get us through a month, plus another supplement (liquid) that we sill start tomorrow. If it the Omegas work, I will change the rating to five stars and sing the praises to the moon and back.

I've heard wonders about it and I've been checking it out on my son since he started taking it. I've noticed that he talks more and concentrates more on his daily tasks.

We have been using this for my kid for last year and a half. Extremely useful in building immunity . Since it’s good source of OMEGA 3 also a must for vegetarians ( since we don’t get the supplement from any in the resource except flax seeds / walnuts )

Value of the money & good product

good product but not getting lemon flavour test.

I am ordering my second bottle and I can atleast see some changes in my son's skin it's glowing!!!
