I like the size and functionality of this remote. It has a large display and the case is built well. It also controls all the needed functions and emulates the original remote quite well. I agree with others that the control steps are not in single steps, but often dual or triple steps, but it is not a big deal for what I use it for. For my older Daiken Mini Split, it was a challenge to find the exact code, but stepping through the codes allowed me to finally find the correct one. Once entered, the remote was fully functional. The Wi-Fi setup also presented some challenges, but no more than another brand's video cameras I set up the same day. Access point (AP) setups can always be a challenge; always finicky. I plan to use this when we go on vacations, so we can control our home's environment, remotely (in case there is a major weather change). Overall, this is a good unit with average setup processes. It does everything is it advertised to do, so I am happy.

After 24 attempts to connect to app we had to return this control. None of the trouble shooting suggestions helped resolve the problem. In an effort to make this work we tried different routers but nothing worked. The remote probably works but there must be a problem with the app.

Worked on my Cooper and Hunter right out of the box. Easy to set up for WiFi on an Android. We will see how long it lasts. The app is certainly not the greatest, but it does work. I had a hard time clicking on the accept terms because it was too far down on the screen.

I bought this and simply could not get it to work. Ended you trashing it then a month later looked for a better option and found none. Noticed one review for this stating to make sure to only follow the install instructions on the sticker on the box. Bought it a second time. Followed the sticker instructions and step it up first try. Now I cal control my mini split at my cabin to heat or cool before I head up

Pressing up/down changes the temperature sometimes by one degree and sometimes by two, so not all temperatures within the range are selectable. The lower limit for heating is 60 degrees, which isn't low enough for where I want to use it. And it seems very sluggish compared to the original remote. (When you press a button, there's a small but annoying delay before it responds to another button press.)

It is a great product, easy to setup, offers a lot of features for a more than fair price, will work better than a factory replacement. Got it for a customer that his AC is outdated and Daikin does not make remotes compatible with his unit anymore and a minisplit wall thermostat goes for 200-300 dollars, this came by as a great solution.As an AC professional and company owner I highly recommend this product if your minisplit remote broke or is missing. I dare to say it is compatible with 90% or more of brands.

The item will not work. The web site to support it allowed me to create an account, but them would always time out. (It is not our connection) I couldn't get help from the maker. I regret I cannot return this. It was a waste of money and time setting it up.

it's a bit confusing setup, but figured out at the end. Must follow the instructions outside the wrapping paper.
