Greenleaf Doll Houses 1/2" Scale Miniature Octagon Shingle Strips Half Scale

Nice tidy little shingles. However, there is a glued seam running down the middle of each and every strip. No problem if you are painting these, but if staining them, the seam shows where the stain resists the glue, and there's nothing to be done about it. I ended up having to cut out and discard the individual shingle that had the seam, so it was a lot more work to shingle the roof with the resulting smaller pieces.
