BD-RE 25GB 2X with Branded Surface - 5pk Jewel Case

I decided to try a five-pack purchase, which is much cheaper (per disc) than the single disc purchase. In reality, turned out much more expensive because only one of five discs recorded properly. I even tried to format the disc and record again a couple of times, with same unsatisfactory result. I went out and purchased a single Memorex disc, which recorded just fine. I will NEVER purchase this product again. I decided to purchase a new Sony BD player (good buy) and saved a Verbatim disc that did not play properly on the older Panasonic BD player. On the new Sony player, the Verbatim discs recorded perfectly. So I stand corrected! Five-star product; next time, I'll be more careful with my review!

About 90 minutes to record a disc. I'm using Linux, so for those burning BD-RE discs, there are a couple of steps required, first, format the disc, and then in order to burn files with more than 2GB, and UDF file system needs to be used. Also, be sure to leave at least 256MB free for the spare area. So far, the discs are holding the data fine, will update in a year or more as I do integrity checksum tests on the stored data.

good product for computer or other BD unit playback

Since for us it is more practicable to view my home movie video editing on our television rather than the computer, these discs eliminated having to discard unrewritable discs if my wife wanted me to re-edit the movie. I have had no issues with erasing and rewriting to these discs many times. So far I am completely satisfied with the quality of Verbatim.

Been using Verbatim exclusively for over a decade without issue. The most recognized brand in terms of compatibility for various DVD-ROM, DVD burners and blue-ray. Never had a bad burn with the media being the issue. RE are great for doing a test run in case something is missed it can just be erased to do it correct before a final R burn.

Worked quite well, only doesnt have the sexy look of a manufactured blue ray

I received very old stock from the seller. Probably because no one make these anymore. But overall I have no complain about the product itself.

I have burnt many dvd and bluray blanks for a very long time…Made multiple videos of the family…I have come to rely on Verbatim disc only….you will rarely fine one not working…the computer recognizes them all the time and Nero burning software takes it from there..If you buy these you will not be disappointed.

Stocking faster speed Blu-ray discs would be appreciated however these did the job for now
