Attention Seniors who want to stay Active comfortably & safe .
I am in my late 70s, 4’11” , minimal weight and still active and want to travel to areas that have uneven terrain and challenging activities. I needed a better pole than the budget ones I have had for years that were heavy and didn’t fold up and pack well. I also had a recent increase in arthritis pain in one knee only. Fortunately, it was not requiring surgery . Working closely with my Orthopedic Dr. and a rehabilitation specialist I came to seek out wonderful information on how to adjust and use poles properly to stay out of pain !!!!!!!! while hiking and walking . I am a person who doesn’t want to take pain meds . I can , but would prefer not to. I am currently receiving injections but it is not certain if it will help . In the meantime, not wanting to stop traveling or being active , I did a great deal of research , watched videos and purchased these “Trekology Z hiking poles.” They are lightweight, very packable and extremely comfortable and easy to use. For me, they are a ultimate lifesaver! well made and fit my budget, activities , lifestyle and minimalist packing goals. They are extremely well made and sturdy. Thank you Trekology for recognizing there are seniors who are still active! Update Did some serious trekking on lava rock paths while in Galapagos, wow , This did not fail to impress. packed well, no security problems and I was really pleased.

If you are looking for a great walking stick, this is IT
A friend has these and loves them. I ordered and mine arrived and I love them more. I can’t say enough Good things about these. Top quality, light weight, but sturdy, beautifully constructed. My husband said, those should last a lifetime. My friend keeps ONE with her and one packed in her luggage as she and her husband travel often. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a quality walking stick. They adjust very easily to the proper height. Easy to collapse and most important to me as I have very sensitive skin, they FEEL great in your hand. I also love the three colors and it took me awhile to decide on the black one. They are priced well for their quality. I am ready to use mine and delighted to own a pair.

Great Poles. Tips Are Too Soft.
I'm satisfied with the poles. They work well, are sturdy, collape easily. The 4 star instead of 5 is because the tips wear out very quickly. One month of daily 1 mile walks and the tips were shot. The product information does not indicate size of replacement tip nor link to replacement tip. Or even better, they could offer/include a harder more durable tip. I understand the soft tip grips better and is less prone to slip. But that's only true until it wears thru and the metal end protrudes and is incredibly slip prone. This problem is not unique to these poles.

Take a hike with these poles.....
The TREKOLOGY Trek-Z hiking poles have completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I took them out of the package, I could tell they were built with real attention to detail. I love the collapsible, tri-fold design—it makes packing a breeze, whether I’m heading out on a backpacking trip or just throwing them in my carry-on for a hiking getaway. What really impressed me is how lightweight yet strong they are. I’ve used them on steep, rocky trails, and they’ve given me incredible support and stability. The height adjustment is smooth and secure, which makes it easy to adapt to different terrain—or let someone else use them. When adjusting the height, they lock in place. The ergonomic cork handles are a standout feature for me. They mold perfectly to my hands and do a great job wicking away sweat, which keeps things comfortable on long hikes. The padded wrist straps reduce strain and keep the poles in place without rubbing. I also really appreciate the variety of tips that come with the poles. Whether I’m dealing with mud, snow, or rocky ground, I’ve got the right attachment to stay confident and steady. It makes these poles super versatile no matter the season or trail conditions. I couldn’t be happier with the Trek-Z poles. They offer a great balance of quality, comfort, and value. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hiker, I’d definitely recommend them for your next adventure.

Great value: simple to assemble, portable in a daypack, lightweight yet very sturdy
So simple to assemble, lightweight (your full water bottle weighs more), portable in a daypack and includes a storage bag. I tried these out on a 13 km hike with 250+m elevation gain. No problems at all even during the rain that fell for the return. I'm 5' 7" and I bought the smaller size; it helps to be able to reduce the length of these for steeper ascents. Thoughtful design and very sturdy

Good quality poles. Compact and light weight.
These are excellent trekking poles. Light weight but great quality. Recommend for sure. Also folds down very compact. Used for hiking around Hawaii.

Complicated to Setup First Time... but Work Great!
Even for someone like me who's quite mechanically apt, and who has a knack for being able to figure things out... The specific details about the way these poles collapse and expand escaped me until I watched a video about it. I do HIGHLY ADVISE you to watch a video about how they expand and collapse. I decided not to make my own video because there are some very good ones already available here. But... once you get the poles expanded and adjusted precisely for your particular size and use... They work phenomenally well! Even being such thin poles (quite a bit thinner than many others) they still are sturdy and stable on the path, and operate dependably and seamlessly just trekking along in the woods or even on a neighborhood sidewalk (in which case, the're not clunky or loud... they're very quiet with a soft touch on the ground and in the hand. The cork grips and adjustable hand straps are very comfortable while walking or hiking... All in all as I said, they're definitely a bit complicated to setup that first time, but once you get the hang of it, you'll have them torn down or wrapped up again within a minute or two! Easy, Quick, Dependable! Excellent Poles!

Took them to 7 day hike in Nepal, no problem or disappointment. Light, strong, easy to open and close when not in use, very compact, have a good cover and comfy cork handle.

Produit de bonne qualité. Je ne les ai pas encore testés lors de nombreuses randonnées, mais ils sont faciles à régler et j'espère qu'ils dureront longtemps.

Used these a few times now, mostly for moderate difficulty walking trails. They've been solid and reliable. They stay at the adjusted length with no problems, and it is easy enough to collapse them down and store in the pack when climbing or otherwise not needing them while out on a trail. The poles are comfortable to use, although the wrist straps can get in the way a bit if you just want to hold them without the wrist strap around your wrist. The straps can chaff a little on the webbing between your thumb and finger if you hold it too close to the top. If it bothered me enough, I'd cut them off, but so far I've adjusted how I hold them and it hasn't been a big enough problem for me to worry about.
