I was expecting a miracle, but I didn’t get one :-) although it is nice and was packaged well

At first nothing would come out of the applicator tip. I took the tip off, and the whole thing came off. I kept playing around with and, eventually, the very tip came off, but there was still a pointy part on the top of the tube. This was blocked with some dried out cream. After I got that out, I put the whole thing back together and it works perfectly.
