I bought this to convert my wife's bike, as she struggles on anything hilly. I can only say that I have been totally impressed by the ease of fit and performance. She has now got her joy of cycling back and we can now enjoy riding again on even the most hilly terrains. Thete has been no faults with the kit and the pedal assist works well. Very pleased. Update. I have now bought and fitted a second kit for my bike, so I can keep up with the wife!!! Just as impressed. Did have a minor quality problem with a non critical part, which was readily replaced.

Not too sure why it’s happening. But a few occasions when out, the display turns off. Tried to contact the seller about this but haven’t heard back. On the whole a good unit. Just not sure why it’s happening

Fitted myself then took to bike shop after £40 told nothing I had done and was absolite so had to remove and just use bike sorry for late review

The delivery was 2 weeks early well packaged and as I opened it I was very impressed with the build and finish of the motor, I fitted it with no problems, the additional bar that fixes above the bottom bracket holds the motor securely. I must say it looks really good its super smooth and the power comes in as soon as you put pressure on the peddles. There was no wiring diagram but I am an electrical engineer so no problem to me, just make sure if you have a throttle it connects to the middle socket on the screen with the e brakes left and right and make sure they are the right way up when you put them in as they will go in either way, I would have given it 5 stars but there is no battery voltage shown, but I am very happy with the motor its so quite and smooth.

Easy to fit and works just great. It's just a pity about the lack of instructions for connecting the electrics. Fortunately you'll find them online.

The box arrived very quickly, closely followed by a separately ordered battery, both from European warehouses. I am so impressed by the performance of the installation that I plan to purchase two more sets. The installation was straightforward using a youtube video as guide, though not the one suggested by the manufacturers. I had to fabricate a bracket to hold the rear light (yes it has good lights too!) and found from another video that the speed magnet has to pass the shank of the detector, not the round end, for it to work. Compared with a nearly new 250W hub motor-powered bike I purchased second hand the Tongsheng is quieter, more powerful, and crucially, pulls away instantly when pressure is applied to the pedal. Minor issues are the bundles of too-long cables and the fact that the display box cannot be removed when parked, making it far easier to steal. No equipment is perfect but this set is beautifully engineered, light weight, and is just what I was looking for.

Have had this motor a few weeks. It's a 350W 36V version. Just needed it to help me on the hills and it does this and more. I got an engineer friend of mine to help me fit it. He had all the extraction tools necessary to remove the old hub. Overall I would say the job is difficult unless you have the tools and expertise. A lot of new electrics on your bike and the crossbar is now really full of main controller,separate switch and throttle. Instructions are pretty rubbish but found some better ones on line. Biggest shock for me was when I was contacted by Post Office international to say I had to pay VAT, import duty and handling charge of £87, which added significantly to the cost. Not sure if this is a Brexit thing or has always been in place. No indication of this when I ordered.

The product works great could not believe it going up hill easy at 15 mph with little effort plus keeping my old bike and not having to buy a new one and end up with either trying to sell the old bike or give it away. I certainly recommend this product.

Der Motor war leicht einzubauen. Ich habe ihn jetzt 500km gefahren. Er zieht sehr kraftvoll. Der Drehmomentsensor arbeitet sehr gut. Insgesamt ist der Motor auch sehr sparsam beim Energieverbrauch

Moteur très bien fabriqué. Qualité perçue très bonne. Montage aisé . Moteur très compact .Fonctionnement silencieux. Résultat équivalent , au moins, à celui d'une grande marque allemande. En ce qui concerne la fiabilité il faudra attendre... mais bon à priori. Je recommande ce produit qui permet, à partir d'un vélo classique, d'obtenir un résultat bien meilleur que que ce qu'offre les vélos électriques premier prix, avec moteur dans la roue sans mesure de couple..

Moteur parfait ! La fixation a demandé pas mal de travail car le vélo avait un cadre particulier dessous ! Sinon, moteur très agréable qui fait parfaitement le job ! Livraison avec un mois d’avance !!! Je recommande fortement.

Leider keine Beschreibung der Verkabelung, die mitgelieferten Lampen haben keine Prüfzeichen und sind damit in D illegal! Ansonsten alles dabei und einfach zu montieren.
