Great little radio! In my opinion the sound is clear even w with the use of head phones! One review said not good at all with earphones ! I disagree I use cheap wired ear buds at night when I go to bed ,helps me sleep and this radio is very clear and easy on and off as well to adjust stations! Most radios don't work well in my Manufactor home ,usually very static ,this one works without static! Im not sure how to use the rechargeable battery, but you can use with regular batteries ,it has a good regular plug! Im not sure how long batteries will last as I haven't tried yet! It all suits my needs buy it costs is great and you won't be sorry!

GREAT radio. It pulls in stations when others don’t. I love it. Batteries last a long time in it too. Sound is fine. Not hi-fi, but it bad either. I recommend it for the price, size, and the way it receives distant stations better than the average radio. I find myself using it a lot more that I thought I would. Also / I dropped it once from ten feet up, and the case cracked a little but I glued it and it kept going just fine. A+!

I like the retro look but more than that I like the analog dial and knobs instead of digital buttons and tuning. It is light weight and pulls in stations well with a pleasant sound. The fact that it uses batteries or house current and comes with a power cord is great too. The price is more than right for what you get.

It was perfect for my dad. Took it to hospital for him to listen to his favorite station. Good reception with the huge antenna. Small but loud enough. Basic knobs and easy for an elderly person to use.

I bought this radio for my 70 year old mum and she loves it; easy to use. Small but big dial for her to see the stations available easily. And easy to plug in for power. Ideal for her to use whenever she needs.

This is a good, basic radio that gets very good reception and runs on either three D-size batteries or by plugging it into an electrical outlet. It's perfect for listening to talk radio, while working outside or while fishing, etc. I've always like these kinds of radios, which is why I bought it when it was on sale for about $20. About the only thing missing is a weather band, but I have another radio for that.

I loved this radio very much. Crystal clear sound easy to find station and Ac powered. I like the idea of putting the tunning knob away from the volume knob , this is great for my medical condition, my shaky hand does not hit the tunning knob and lost the station. The engineer did a fantastic design .

Excelente radio y fácil de usar. Excelente recepción (hay que alejarlo de aparatos electrónicos ya que hace interferencia en AM) como se menciona en la descripción es apto para su uso en personas de la tercera edad, buen diseño y se escucha fuerte y su salida para conectar audífonos es algo que se agradece.
