Review: Hot And Sexy Political Romance - Steamy chemistry and an interesting story make this a fast paced read. Elijah is one hot and sexy politician. Meredith was smart and funny. Their chance anonymous encounter turns into so much more after they come face to face once again. A very fun and entertaining romp. This book also has the book Rock Me included after the end of His Virgin. Vivian Wood writes amazing books. His Virgin is another winner. I highly recommend them if you enjoy books that are sexy and fun. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book. Review: My dirty president - One party that brings two people together and leaves them both thinking of each other and what could have been. Meredith Fields is fresh out of university with a degree in Journalism. She is forced to work for her Dad, who runs one of the biggest newspaper companies. Her assignment is to follow the presidential campaign of Elijah Scott. On introduction she knows this is the same man that wore the mask at the party. Elijah pretends he does not know her. However, the attraction for one another is undeniable and one thing leads to another. Can Meredith be his dirty little secret or is that too much to ask for? Elijah is so close to getting what he has always wanted, to be president. Can he let Meredith in or will it be frowned upon, which could have a detrimental outcome for him. What about his campaign manager who has her eyes set on him. Is she the better choice to help his career? I enjoyed most of this story. At times I found that Elijah was a bit weak and was pushed around by his campaign manager. I wanted him to be strong and opinionated. I wanted him to go after what he wanted to show strength in all his decisions. I also at times found him to act immature considering he was 10 years plus older than Meredith. I liked Meredith she stood her ground and was the better person for it. I found the character build-up of her characters was great. The story flowed and had enough climax and angst, which I always enjoy. My only issue was at the end. I wanted a bit more and felt like the last part was a bit rushed. However don’t let this stop you from reading this little gem of a story. There is nothing like a future president with a dirty little secret or two. Hot books and Sassy Girls

Swoon!
Omg Eli is my new favorite book boyfriend. Omg talk about sexy as sin. Meredith and her best friend Lily are going to a masquerade sex party as their final hurrah after graduation. While at the party she finds herself in a private room with a mysterious stranger who she is instantly drawn to. Fast forward. Merideth's father is offering her a job as a reporter in a presidential campaign. Not too excited about it she agrees and joins Elijah Scott's campaign entourage. When she meets him for the first time she is shocked to look into the eyes of the mysterious stranger from the party. Their attraction to each other is undeniable. Unable to hold back any longer Eli is making a move on Merideth but is freaked out when she tells him she is still a virgin. He is trying to stay away but can't. Eventually he has to admit his feelings and risk the outcome of his campaign. I loved this book. It is so sexy and Eli is just a dream. I was unable to put this book down and devoured it in just a few hours. Great book!

Good story but had some problems
This was a good book, nothing extraordinary but good enough to keep my interest and not be a DNF. The H/h did not have any chemistry and the candidate was such a wishy washy i surly wouldn't have voted for him. His campaign manager ran the show and ran him. I sure didn't like her either and for our poor little journalist, she had more brains than the rest of them out together and they were 10 years older than her. Eli's sister had me confused, he called her his baby sister, she acted like she was 12 and they discussed what she was going to do when she graduated high school but said she was 28 years old. Not sure if she has a disability, it was never mentioned. That whole part at the amusement park seemed off. It has an HEA but it seemed rushed at the end.

Secrets Can Turn Your Life Upside Down, If You Let Them...
President Elect Elijah Scott decides a little secret fun is in order before hitting the long campaign trail. With his buddies he hits up a night club that's all about keeping things secret. While there, he meets a strikingly beautiful mysterious young lady. However, as fate would have it, she is wished away before then can share much more than a passionate kiss. Recent college graduate in journalism, Meredith has been propositioned by her father... Once summer of working for him and he will release her trust fund early. Though she would prefer a post graduation party summer, she figures a it's to good of a deal to pass up. When her father gives her her summer assignment, she is shocked to realize she has met Eli before, at a secret party, in NYC, her best friend drug her off too. With sparkles flying between them and secrets being kept around every corner, can these two handle everything life throws at them? This book was amazing. I love the His And Hers set of books and I found this to be a wonderful start to a wonderful series. I requirement reading them in order, in order to understand the place each person holds. But they can certainly be read in any order and enjoyed all the same. I definitely recommend picking up these books for an enjoyable, fun read.

A Steamy Secret
Title: His Virgin Author: Vivian Wood Format: Ebook Genre: Romance, Military (SEAL), Political, Secret, Virgin Standalone: Yes Part of a Series: Book 1 of the His and Hers series POV: Meredith and Elijah Steam Level: Slow burn to toasty 4/5 His Virgin is steamy affair between the only single presidential candidate and a virgin reporter assigned to his campaign. Throw in a brief meeting at a secret sex party prior to their official meeting and the sparks ignite. I liked the fighting of attraction and the emotions conveyed in Vivian Wood's masterful writing and we have a winner with His Virgin. I couldn't put it down.

I love Elijah and Mereidith story.
Elijah: Hot and sexy as sin. As far as women goes he has no time for them. He is a love them and leave them kind of man. He is also a presidential candidate who works non stop. Meredith.: She is sweet, georgeous and innocent. She just graduated from Columbia University with a degree injournalism. Meredith and Elijah meet at a masquerade sex party where they are in a private room together. The connection and attraction was instant. She has been drinking and feeling real good when she decides to do a sexy lap dance for this handsome stranger. She also contemplated loosing her virginity to him. However her friends made her leave the party. Mereidith dad set her up to represent his paternal media company and to go on Elijiah campaign trail with him as a reporter. If she does this her dad will relase her trust fund to her early. Mereidith has no idea that Elijiah is the sexy stanger from the party. You will follow their journey as they are on the campaign trail and see their hot chemistry. Will they figure out who each other is? Will they make the connection they had at the masquerade sex party? You will need to read the book to find out, it was a page turner for me.

Meh.
I've really enjoyed Vivian Wood's books before, but this one is a miss. The characters and plot just aren't believable. Elijah is far from presidential and the idea that Meredith is a lead reporter on a presidential campaign right out of college (no matter her family's wealth and influence) is laughable. The circumstance under which the couple meets is compelling, but it just doesn't feel true when it segues to the campaign storyline. The old adage that an author should write what she knows applies here. It's clear that the author has no real-life campaign or media experience and it shows. That said, given what I've read of hers previously, I think Vivian Wood could rework and re-release this one. With a little research, changing the campaign to one for local or state office, and adding more dialogue and more of a basis for the couple's relationship this story could go from a miss to a hit.
