Great door lock with cheap screws
Great item but came with wood screws only. My door molding is steel so I had to purchase special steel screws.It would be nice if this item came with 3 screws for steel.

Be careful of fit up on door & trim
Do not buy this unless your door trim is flush/even with the face of your door. The component mounting on the door must be even with the component mounting on the door trim for them to engage properly. This set does not come with a shim(s) that would enable placing the 2 components at appropriate positions. The manufacturer should consider the addition of shims.That said, the quality, fit & finish of this set is high.

Simple, effective, and sturdy
I bought the product for the front door of my apartment. It wasn't expensive and the metal quality is excellent. The big selling point for me is this was incredibly easy to install. The directions were clear and complete. It took less than 10 minutes to install.

The screws got stripped easily! Your door n other side MUST BE FLAT NO MOLDINGS!
The screws got stripped very easily, then my door n the other side where it suposed to attach did not line up. Be sure you have xtra screws n that your door lines up flatly! Other than that it looks sturdy. Im out $
