Yes, this is a knock-off copy, but it's actually one of the better ones. I've put it through its paces on my plate carrier with real mags/ammo/training...not airsoft BS...and it's held up better than expected.

I’m impressed with it , I use it for real mags on a real plate carrier with no issues. It does hold AK mags if anyone else is wondering. This is Haley strategic for us poors.The admin pouch is great for a tendie pocket.

While I'm not one of those folks who like to parade around in tacticool gear like some sort of low-rent LARPing macho guy, I do like convenience and functionality when it comes to rigging up a kit for my outdoor activities. I like that this chestrig can be configured for hunting, fishing, or range use.Pros:- Well made and robust, especially for the price. Adjustable fit for small to fairly large upper body.- Straps are wide enough to be comfortable even when worn for long periods of time.- Mag pockets are well designed. 556 pockets come with plastic retention sleeves that can be removed easily / replaced if you want to put other types of mags or gear in them. Pistol mag pouches fit 9mm and 1911 mags snugly.-While carrying 3 rifle and 2 pistol mags is great for the range or a competition, these pouches can be used for other stuff when out hunting- pistol mag pouches also fit flashlights and multitools, and without the plastic retainers the 556 pouches fit small field glasses, an iphone, IFAK supplies, etc. The whole 3 mag pouch is removable from the rig as well if you want to create a large open top pocket for a notebook, maps, binoculars, shotgun shells etc.-The rig also works well for fishing, as can be seen in the picture I included with this review. The rifle mag pouches hold small fly boxes quite nicely and the rig sits high enough on the torso to stay dry even while wading.Cons:-MultiCam pattern is... not the best. Kind of looks like cheap knockoff MC, which it is.- Zipper on front pouch is just ok, but not up to the standards of more expensive similar products. I threw an s-clip through it for added security. I do wish the pouch had elastic webbing that keeps it from flopping all the way open when fully unzipped. This is a big difference between this and more expensive options.-Pistol mag retention bungees are way too long and need to be trimmed and re-tied if you are running standard size mags.Overall, time will tell how well this rig holds up, but so far it seems to be doing fine. I'll update if it falls apart or something.

This thing has been great!I'm a poor and didn't want to spring for the Haley Micro (which many have already compared this to), read some good reviews and figured for the price I might as well give it a shot. Overall I couldn't be more satisfied. Couple small gripes but for the price I think this is probably the best one out there in this price range.The good: seems sturdy and decently well built. I've hiked a few miles several times with this and my rifle comfortably, 3 loaded mags and 2 loaded pistol mags, had no problem supporting the weight.The big admin pocket on the front is nice and roomy, and I discovered that the elastic bands inside it will hold 12 shotgun shells! (12 gauge). It does come with plastic inserts inside the magazine compartments, which some of the cheaper ones don't give you.What could be improved:My main complaint is the way the plastic mag retainers are held in the magazine insert. They basically just sit with a small elastic band that goes over side at the top. (See photos). Because of this, the plastic retainers slip out pretty easily, which makes it a little more difficult to insert the magazine. Not a huge deal but it's my main gripe with this rig.The elastic bands for the pistol mag pouches could also be a bit tighter, as they are sitting a bit loose, on my full size 17 round M&P mags.Lastly, the x-strap configuration can be a bit uncomfortable at times since it can be hard to get the straps to feel as though they're both riding at the same height. But I figure you could find a H-strap style harness that could fit the clips somewhere.Overall, I'm satisfied with this and definitely will be using it for as long as it still works.

I'm glad I didn't dish out $120 for the real Haley strategic rig but I did have to use his magazine insert. The kydex insert that comes with this rig I didn't think was going to cut it long term. However as it sits now it gets the job done. I'll probably change to the spiritus systems rig in the future due to the front GP pouch. I'd rather have a hanging GP pouch that doesn't stick out from my chest. I'm also not confident in the strength of the zipper when skull dragging and it's only a matter of time before it fails.

I mainly use it for airsoft. Triple mag pouch and two pistol pouch has good retention. I love that it's modular I can use it as a chest rig or attached to a plate carrier. The only con so far is that the zipper in admin pouch it's weak anything bulky or heavy admin pouch opens up. I'm definitely getting another set.

I bought this to use fro air soft. I play mostly CQB (close quarters battle) so i don't need that many M4 mag or pistol pouches. I also didn't want such a big chest rig like most of the other ones that i found. This one is perfect from me, 3 M4 mag slots and 2 pistol mag slots that can fit both regular and extended pistol mags (if you loosen the rubber strap) as shown in the picture above. The material is great and seems very heavy duty (although i have only played 2 full days with it. Also the 3 M4 mag pouches are removable which leaves just one bug pouch. So far i have no complaints.

The straps on this are a bit flimsy, and the velcro on the front is less than stellar - but beyond that everything else is really great on this. The layout is spectacular and I have no problems fitting everything I need into it.The velcro on the back is better than the front, it holds my dangler pouch really really well.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants the layout of a Haley strategic without paying an arm and a leg for one.Biggest downside to be aware of is that I think this is only available with M4 type mag inserts. So if you want to run MP5 or AK mags you'll have to find new inserts.
