IT WORKS!!!! I CAUGHT MY PET MOUSE SAFELY, -got out of her enclosure!! Thank you for this Product!!
This Item WORKS!!!! I can't be any more ecstatically happy!! My Beloved Pet Mouse, got out of her posh Habitat, and ran under my stove, and back behind the wall, and for 8 days I was frantic. I put food and water out for her, she came out and ate and drank, but could not catch her. I also first purchased another Trap that looked like this one, but was Green color, Campior i think was the brand (DO NOT buy that one!!) It had a defect, and didn't work so I returned that one. I purchase this one, and had it overnighted, and my baby girl got right inside, and it worked perfectly!! The quality is excellent, built very efficiently, weight is light but efficient, easy to use, easy to clean, and so Safe for your mousey friend!! Highly Recommend!!

Highly recommend
Review of the Humane Mouse TrapThe humane mouse trap I recently purchased has proven to be an exceptional solution for addressing unwanted rodent visitors in a compassionate and effective manner. Designed with both functionality and animal welfare in mind, this trap offers a non-lethal method to capture mice, allowing for their safe release back into the wild without causing harm. The trap’s design is both simple and ingenious. Constructed from durable, transparent plastic, it allows users to easily monitor activity without needing to open the device. The mechanism operates with a highly sensitive trigger that ensures quick and reliable capture once the mouse enters to access the bait. I found that placing a small amount of peanut butter or cheese near the back of the trap worked effectively to lure mice in. The entry point is designed to close securely behind the mouse, preventing escape while keeping the animal safe and unstressed.Ease of use is a standout feature. The trap requires minimal setup—simply place the bait, set the trap in an area of mouse activity, and check periodically. The clear material makes it easy to see when a mouse has been caught, and the release mechanism is straightforward, allowing for quick and contactless release at a safe distance from the home. I particularly appreciated the reusable nature of the trap, as it can be cleaned easily with soap and water, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.Another commendable aspect is the trap’s safety. Unlike traditional snap traps or glue boards, this humane alternative poses no risk of injury to the mouse or to household pets and children. The absence of toxic chemicals or dangerous mechanisms provides peace of mind, especially in homes with curious animals or young family members. In practice, the trap performed admirably. Within two days of setting it in my garage, I successfully captured a mouse, which was then released unharmed in a nearby field. The process was stress-free for both myself and the mouse, and I felt confident that I was addressing the issue in an ethical manner. If there is one minor drawback, it is that the trap requires regular checking to ensure captured mice are not left inside for extended periods, as this could cause distress. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the benefits of a cruelty-free solution.Overall, this humane mouse trap is an outstanding product for those seeking an effective, ethical, and user-friendly way to manage mouse intrusions. Its thoughtful design, reliability, and commitment to animal welfare make it a top choice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to resolve rodent issues with compassion and efficiency.Rating: 5/5 Stars

Inexpensive trap that works, but not the best
This live mouse trap works, but is not my favorite. It is very small, and is designed so the bait used to entice them can be seen and smelled, but cannot be eaten. To a high metabolism, short lived animal, being trapped and without food is a real hardship. I figure if I want to be kind and release them, I should also give them a boost of good nutrients; so they have a chance at survival when released in an unfamiliar environment.I prefer another trap that is 12 inches long and allows the mouse to eat the bait. It is also transparent, so I can easily see if it is occupied. It not only catches tiny mice, but also rats.Good points of this trap - It is inexpensive. It works. And it is easy to release the mice if you gently turn the trap upside down so they are standing on the ceiling before you open it. Then you can just gently tip them out into a wild area far from human residences.

Works great!
We just got four of these traps today and let me tell you they work great! Three mice in as many hours and it was so easy to move them into a tall trash can until we can move them away from people. No mice are injured and the shape of this trap actually lends itself to keeping them calm. Just small enough to feel cozy, just big enough that they don't appear to feel particularly trapped. I had just about given up all hope on finding a truly humane trap, but this one has definitely delivered! I personally hate killing things, but living in the woods I've been forced to resort to that with mice more than once. I'm hopeful that finding this product will mean I never have to go that route again. We didn't use the recommended peanut butter because we didn't have any to hand, but we do have Lefaber nutriberries for our birds, so we figured we'd give that a shot. Honestly, I think it may actually work a bit better than peanut butter would have. The nutriberries add just enough weight to reduce the tension on the spring plate and this leaves me no doubt that the trap is able to catch even the smallest of mice (perfect for us because our colony appears to be mostly youngsters). It does make it harder to set the traps, so it's best to set the loaded trap down before you set the door, but the mice go bananas for nutriberries. My husband actually just found a fourth mouse caught while I've been typing this! The only downside to using them is that if you have a little pig who just doesn't care and shreds the nutriberries, the pieces can get stuck between flaps and make it so you can't reset the door. I solved this by running the trap under my sink faucet to dislodge the seeds. It does make some fantastic bait and if humane is truly your goal, nutriberries are actually pretty dang healthy for the little guys. If you're gonna evict them from your nice, warm home, it's not a terrible idea to give them a decent meal first. As far as the trap itself, it does feel well constructed. The plastic is a bit thin as others have commented, but after playing with the mechanism it's easy to see that a thicker construction would actually reduce the efficacy of the trap. I would still avoid dropping one of these as I don't think they'd survive much of a fall. I would also not recommend attempting to wedge them in anywhere they don't properly fit as they are likely to crack under pressure. That being said, for what they are, what they do, and how effective they've shown themselves to be in just the few hours I've had them out, they are a fantastic product and well priced. I'll update my review if I run into any issues, but I currently see myself buying more than the four I've started with.
