I think all the products used to make this pest repellent are an excellent choice. However after using it for two seasons, I found it didn't help us with deer, rabbit or squirrel resistance. Also the product "clumped" after opening (I even put this package in a glass sealed jar.) Just didn't work for me but may for others in a dryer climate.

First of all, the advertised product says that the 44 ounce package covers 7,000 sq ft. The back of the small package says that it covers 1,500 sq ft. I applied it to an area of about 250 sq ft and ran out! So, one could say that I over-saturated the area, but at the ratio stated on the bag, it would be about one grain of sand for every square inch. A little more distribution challenge than would be convenient for most! That was at approx 6:30 pm and at 9:25 pm, the raccoon was back (see picture) in the same area that I had just saturated with this product. He spent at least ten minutes wandering around the saturated area, digging as usual, completely un-phased at all by this product. Need to try something else.

Smells bad. Haven’t seen any results so far.

This product has kept cats out of my flowerbeds. It doesn't go far and can become expensive due to having repeated additions because of rain and watering.

I have had a hard time trying to keep animals away from my flowers and have tried everything. I got the Defense and now my flowers are growing and nonthung is eating them and where I live I have all kinds of little animales. Thank you for comming up with a product that actually works!

I have purchased this product for a few years. It worked in my garden and I had great veggies and herbs this year.
