Artist Ever! She has excellent talent. One of the prettiest, voices I ever heard! The thing I always, loved about Kim Wilde. She always had, her own sound. Look/ style. I love how she explored, her horizons. She's done music, that range from New Wave/ Rock. Pop-Dance/ Disco & R&B!! All of the music, is Awesome! ( Close) is my favorite Kim Wilde album. I'm head over heels! Finding this Special, Deluxe 2 disk, Collection CD. With bonus tracks! And 12 inch songs! PURE GOLD! My most favorite song is " You Came"! It's a song, about finding love. When you least expect it. It's a beautiful, charming song! An upbeat, uplifting song! With a pretty, dance- pop beat. Has a beautiful, catchy chorus! It makes me want to. Sing and dance in rain! My next favorite track is " Never Trust A Stranger" a song about. Thinking you, found true love. Then slowly you realize.This person not, what they seem. This song is winner! Kim's powerhouse vocals, will put in. From start to finish! I love the stomping, heavy drum beats! Reminds me of, the Disco drum beats. It's a hot! fast paced number! That doesn't miss a beat! It's pumping, thunder beats, will keep you. Dancing on your feet! Perfect guitar intro! My next favorite track is " Hey Mister Heartache" it's a song about. Being feed up in a relationship. With someone who's, giving you no love! A heartbreak! This song has a smooth. R&B, funky bass, groove to it. I love it! Kim's vocals are sooo beautiful, and very soulful! Funk/ R&B Singer, Junior duets with Kim again. It's as beautiful as the duet " One Step Closer". Kim Wilde is Fabulous!! She always. delivers a 100% percent! (Close) is unforgettable album! Beautiful sound! Beautiful beats! Lovely Ballads! I'll cherish it always.I've been a fan, of Kim's since her first album! " Kids In America" still is a cool! Timeless Classic! This CD IS, A MUST FOR ALL KIM WILDE FANS!

Cherry Pop records finally releases Kim Wilde's 6th CD, after re-releasing her first five 80s albums in 2009. It sounds great. These songs hold up really well. For the completist, all her B-sides and seemingly every re-mix, edit, and dub version of Close's singles are proffered up on this 2CD release. I'd love for them to continue this series but as her 90s releases "Love Moves", "Love Is" and "Breaking Away" are even more obscure, I doubt we'll see them. Still, this is a good stopping point as it concludes her 80s reign.

This album was her best-selling. Her total conversion to pop. Superb extended mixes. Great memories. You Came is such a wonderfully happy song!

Amazing expanded edition -- the only thing knocking it down to four stars is the aforementioned audio issue with the "You Came" 7" US Shep Pettibone edit. Everything else on here -- including the liner notes -- is full on class and worth the purchase. And it's still great to have the US single version of "You Came" on here even if it does sound transcribed from my cassette single. Thanks for the great memories!

this is kim wilde's best album and it has only gotten better with time and all the extra tracks. my favorite songs have remained my favorite since 1988: you came, four letter word, and stone.
