Gaiwan Chinese Kung Fu Sancai 8oz tureen Tray Cup Tea Set Bowl Saucer Lid Teacup

The media could not be loaded. Not bad I guess, this is my first gaiwan so I am not sure if its good or not. Size is good. I keep making a mess because i either dont know how to pour it or this cup doesn't pour right. Idk.

This is a traditional Chinese style 3 pcs tea set. Painted with lotus flowers and Chinese letters. It is an elegant set for everyday tea tasting.They were wrapped well and arrived intact. Pretty impressive with this set.

The cup is to small for my use.

I was looking for a larger gaiwan, and this is certainly that. The only issue is the lid, which in addition to being rough around the edge, doesn't sit properly on the bowl, it will always be sliding around off center.

I was so looking forward to this Gaiwan, it is every bit as beautiful as I was hoping, but unfortunately the saucer shattered in shipping. The packaging was definitely inadequate and mine paid the price. The box was barely bigger than the Gaiwan and very little padding.Otherwise, this is definitely a five star piece, but had to take at least one star off for the disappointment. I can pair it with another saucer, but not one that has the beautiful blue pattern.bummer...
