Really good copy of the original cable, fitted perfectly and works. Materials used are not quite the same quality so I expect the metal parts and cable to wear faster but still likely outlast the already aged straighteners. I would give a 4.5 if possible as it’s just short of a 5.

Good quality item . Easy to replace. Plenty of videos on Youtube describing replacement. Make sure this cable is suitable for the model number ....

Advertised as compatible, but I had refund right away

Quick and easy to fit replacement power lead for my wife's GHD hair straightens. It literally took less than 5 mins to fit. I just looked on YouTube on how to replace and followed the step by step video. No more moaning wife telling me she needed new straightens because they were broken. Definitely the cheaper option of the two 🤣

GHD have changed the design of their connectors but they can still fit safely inside the product. I had to buy the compatible connector for the lead but it fitted into the old straighteners perfectly. I am very impressed with the maintainability of these hair straighteners.

This cable is described as compatible with GHD 4.2B but it did not fit as I have a black internal coupler. For it to work I would also need to replace the couple with the internal clear version which is not specified on the product details.
