Meet Gidget...4.5 lbs of fluff and now she is rocking her pink tail (I wanted to tip her ears as well but hubby said no lol, but he did come around to thinking the tail is cute)....She tolerated as well as could be expected...I wore gloves just like if doing my own hair and one of my hair dye bowls/brush. I also took a plastic grocery store bag to place under her tail to keep it off the rest of her fur...had a wet rag handy to wipe up any mishaps that got onto the rest of her. Then we sat with her on my lap and old towel so she wouldn't try and roll or get it everywhere for the 30 mins. As others have said be sure fur is damp before starting (I just wetted tail since we did bath a couple days before just to start off clean and get rid of loose fur...especially this time of year when they start to shed summer coats) It has been about a week now with no other bath yet and it has faded a small amount...still very pink...we will see after next bath, but it hasn't rubbed off on any furniture or bed linens. Posted her on fb now friends want their pet tails done too ... maybe a side gig for me and The Gidge! ....no skin reaction but then again I only did tail so I can't speak to that as well as others might. All in all pleased...tube is huge (about size of bath & body store creams) almost as long as she is so we should have plenty for some time! 2024 Update: Gidget sadly passed in April... but I still have plenty of dye left so Im giving it to a friend for her pug. This tube should last ...well a lifetime! ps I found that cutting a hole in plastic bag for just tail to stick ot helpful.

I purchased this, used it, and swore I’d never use it again because it is definitely messy and not for the impatient. HOWEVER, It is now 6 months later and my dog is STILL dyed. It is significantly faded, but the pink is still very much noticeable, and I am genuinely considering doing it again. Photos are of 1 week in, and 5 months in to the color. Granted, my dog does not get bathed very often, so color longevity may be affected by how often you bathe. It is very gentle on their skin, I didn’t have any sensitivity issues (and this dog would have!), and we get lots of compliments on it. Tips if you do decide to do this: -know you must have PATIENCE. It is messy and dyes everything it touches, so… -wear gloves, wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty -consider doing it outside because it may stain the tub -put it on the hair dry, leave for 45 minutes, then rinse until water becomes clear, shampoo, then condition -do not use Vaseline to try to block out edges you don’t want dyed-it doesn’t come off for weeks…maybe try a conditioner or olive oil or something less greasy. -use color liberally. Do not skimp. You will get a much more pure color if you’re thorough. -expect people to call your dog the unicorn dog, JoJo Siwa dog, rainbow dog, cotton candy dog, etc.

This dye is so bright and vibrant, gentle on skin, and gentle on hair. As someone who dyes their own hair with these kinds of colors, I tried it on myself before using it on my dog so I could know what I was getting into. USE GLOVES. This dye is very pigmented and will stain your hands and anything else it touches. Squeeze the dye into a bowl and use a hair dying brush or a comb to distribute it evenly into the fur, just trying to rub it in with your hands can create a patchy result. Let it dry for a half hour and then rinse and shampoo. The dye is a little drying so I suggest using a pet conditioner if your pet has long fur. If you're careful when you use it I think the pay off is very worth it. Color is brighter than many human hair dyes I've used and I'll definitely be using this brand again.

I am not a professional so this was very scary. The dye is like a gel and I applied it with gloves. It was very easy to use. The color is extremely vibrant. It was difficult to keep her in the bathtub for the 20ish minutes it took to develop but I would recommend this dye. We had no issues with her skin or hair the smell wasn't too bad. Update: Color is long lasting and grows out nicely. Never had any issues with her skin or thr color bleeding. I highly recommend this product.

I just wish this came with gloves for the handler to wear during application. And note, the gloves would need to be LONG to cover the full arm lol. luckily I had some gloves from my own hair dye box and used those but they were short and my arms ended up covered in this pink dye. My dog did not sit still so it ended up all over the parts of her I did not want dyed but I'm sure I can remedy that in time with some more experience. All in all I love how easy it is to use, a squeeze bottle with nothing to mix cant get any easier. smell was fine. and the dye that got on me and my grass did wash off pretty easily. I know 20mins of letting it set sounds intimidating but by the time I was done rubbing it over the length of her tail it has pretty much been in 20 mins. definitely do this outside to avoid staining your bathroom. she gets SO many compliments!

I read a lot of reviews before I purchase and I was shocked at how good it really was compared to what everyone else was saying. It’s very bright!! My dog is still a little white around his nose, as I was applying it I could see he started to lick his nose so I did not put it around that area. This was easy to use. Basically like giving my dog two baths just 30 mins apart. As you can see from my photo it got every where but I just sprayed some cleaner and it came right off. No stains! Even my hands! I would highly recommend this! We will get more colors! *Bonus* it smells AMAZING!!! I wish they just made a wash because we would buy that! Totally recommend this!!!

Works great. The pink is super bright. I was afraid it wouldn’t show on my dogs grey hair but boy, was she neon. Make sure to wear gloves or you’ll stain your hands for a few days. The color doesn’t last very long tho, the vibrancy starts fading even without bathing her. Maybe becusse she’s so oily. But it’s not a huge deal

stains very easy and is hard to remove from skin/surfaces. colour picked up amazing and vibrant! better then any other pet dye i’ve used.

Bought bright pink and it just didn’t take on my poodles hair. She looks patchy and horrible.
