I have four little ones very close in age, although only one is wearing diapers now. I've relied on Desitin for all four. After their daily baths, all four would get Desitin (more later if needed), and none of my children ever suffered from diaper rash. We also use it for minor cups, scrapes, chafing, and burns (it's my husband and I who get the minor burns) that don't require a doctor's visit. I think most everyone knows that Desitin is a diaper cream, and it's one that seems to be soothing for baby's bottom, but it can be a little messy. You must wash your hands well after applying, but that's something you'd do anyway, so no big deal there. I don't know if most know that this cream also works what seems to be a miracle for minor skin irritations, burns, etc., for adults. My husband and I always have several tubes of this on hand. It works wonderfully in hot weather when chafing can be a problem, especially if you have active children who love to play outside. I also like it because it's safe.vv There are a lot of products that don't do what they promise to do. Desitin does what it promises to do, and more! And the price is good, too. That's always a plus. And It's safe to use. It doesn't come with a list of warnings you have to worry about. My family and I are very happy with this product, and we think you will be, too. At least, we hope so.

Works fast at clearing up diaper rash

Works great for both preventing and treating diaper rash. Gentle on baby’s skin and easy to apply.

Works fantastic. Very oily and hard to get off your hands. I actually use a glove. But you can’t beat it for protection and clearing up diaper area rash. Little bit goes a long way. This tube will last years.

There is nothing that works like this. My elderly mother was in the hospital and got bed sores. They gave her skin protection sauve to use. It did not help at all. I bought her this Desitin and it is solving the problem.

You should check your expiry before you buy the item. The tube is quite big and you can use it for 2 years actually. The amazon is selling all the old items which expires soon to the customers and item is non refundable also. The product is quite expensive also. I have bought the another tube in 2021 and which expires in December 2023. This year January 2024 I ordered another one which expires on 7/2024 which I can hardly use it only for 6 months. Please don't buy these products from Amazon. The product is really good but not from Amazon.

Why is it so watery now? Earlier it was a thicker consistency.
