Quite a thick oil, it is NOT like a parma violet smell, it's earthy, like a fresh cut leaf smell of the plant, not unpleasant at all, but it has its uses!

Apparently Violet leaf is soothing for dogs. So upon recommendation I purchased this product. It doesn’t smell of violet but it does smell of chopped up greenery (leaves). The dog is not impressed but the cat can’t get enough of it. Difficult to rate this product: 5 stars if you have a cat; not so many for a dog; personally I do not like the scent.

Very happy with this oil, it has a herby/earthy fragrance which I like and goes well with floral fragrances. This brand of essential oils is good quality and a few drops go a long way when diluted in a carrier oil.

I use this to calm my pup buy putting a drop or two on a particular plush toy. I’ve taught him to settle & sniff but Violet Leaf isn’t harmful if licked by dogs. It works extremely well to calm him in stressful situations. Delivery was expected for 4 weeks but the product arrived in 2 days. Great scent and great value for money. I would happily buy from this seller again.

It's a good size and the best value I have come across for violet oil it can be used neat in the skin in this strength. It works well for every skin condition and it always helps me sleep too. It's lovely to use in your evening bath. 5 stars from me

Not keen on the scent.

I guess this is perfect for some people. It was a good price for what it is. It was useless for me though as I bought as for my dog. It was recommended as calming aromatherapy for her, but she literally turns her nose up at it when I offer the scent to her. Not a good purchase for me personally.

NO me gusta su olor se huele muy fuerte el aceite base y un poco a violeta. No lo comprare mas.

Odeur dégueulasse qui n'a rien à voir avec de la violette. De plus le flacon est arrivé tout huileux et l'étiquette abîmée. Obligée de mettre 1 étoile mais je regrette mon achat...

Mi spiace nel dire che questo prodotto non è come ci si aspetta perché ha un odore di fogliame marcio, con assoluta certezza lo sottolineo perché più persone a cui lo fatto sentire mi è stato detto la stessa cosa. Nel brucia essenze anche.. Ha un odore sgradevole. L ho buttato. Sconsigliatissimo!!!!
