Bear Creek Country Kitchen Chicken Noodle Soup Mix (Pack of 3)

I love this soup/chili mix. I cook a pot of this up in my Instant Pot. After cooking, I add diced veggies such as onion, bell pepper, and even asparagus bc they have such good nutrition. (Caution: If you put the veggies into the instant pot with the soup mix the veggies will get overcooked.) I also add more beans bc beans are cheap and have excellent protein value. All in all, an excellent soup mix that is the basis of a good soup/chili.

I’m going to confess - I make damn good chili from scratch; but, that chili takes time, hours and preparation. This chili mix is quick - about an hour - and it’s pretty good! Not quite as good as mine; but, when you’re wet, cold, and in a hurry- this little bag is hiding in the back of my pantry! It’s good! I recommend it! Works well in horse camp too!

Too many carrots for husband but okay for me. Everyone has different tastes so I will start here. I like carrots just about any way raw, cooked and even in cake. Husband hates them. When I prepare this soup I go through the package and remove as many as I can. Now he likes the minestrone at Live Garden. They have a few things extra so I add spinach and some Italian green beans too. Really adds a bit of umph to it. Only 8 cups so there isn’t too much made at a time. If you are having a lot of people over and have crock pots, may I suggest making Bear Creek soups in the different varieties. Broccoli is good, really like both potato soups and the chicken noodle. Give them a try.

Tastes good, super easy, and we like to make it with pulled pork. If you don't want a fussy chili recipe, but you do want one that tastes good, this is your base.

Discontinued in grocery stores but found it on Amazon. Great tasting chili -- add tomato paste and ground beef.
