I had a Donaldson PowerCore Filter in my Nissan Xterra.I kept getting lean codes and couldn't keep them cleared. It was recommended that the AEM Element Dryflow Air Filter was a good replacement. The AEM increased my gas mileage slightly, increased my horsepower and sounds great. My Amazon dealer gave me a great price, shipped promptly and no problems.

I have been using this filter for a year now and I have to say it is one of the best Filters I have ever purchased. Well worth the small investment for peace of mine in knowing it delivers the extra horsepower when it is needed!

For an 09 Xterra. Since i drive in the desert a lot this dry air filter is perfect. I have a Volant CAI and was using a volant pro-5 pre on it. After 2 drives in the sand the filter was very dirty, thanks to the oil on the filter, all the sand and dirt clogged it down and washing didnt help much. That being said, the volant pro 5 does sound very good. so if you plan to use the filter for on road applications i think the volant is much better. The AEM though would be the best choice if youre into a lot of dust and sand. And it doesnt sound bad at all. Great build quality too. I'd buy again and recommend it.

I ordered this filter for my 2006 Nissan Frontier as a Volant CAI replacement. Perfect fit and works great. Will purchase again when the time comes

Expensive for open air element, But you almost have to go with aem Dryflow. Other brands just feel cheap and perform poorly.

Fits my Volant cai perfectly. Works great with no codes or issues.

Perfect size i wanted perfect fit and most of all its a real AEM.

I have no complains... better than K&N and cheaper!
