Sikaflex 522 - Twin Pack 300ml White Caravan Motor Home Sealant Adhesive

Quite expensive but does the job really well, instilling confidence that your solar panel will still be attached when you arrive at your destination 🙈

Needed the sealant quick after discovering a leak in my caravan from the awning rail, found this product on amazon and it arrived next day. I have used sikaflex products in my trade and always found them brilliant so had high expectation from this sealant. I removed the old sealant in the awning rail to caravan roof joint, cleaned with alcohol wipes and applied this sealant. Left it to dry for 2 days and tested it with a hose pipe. The leak was fixed. I will remove the awning rail next year and reseal with sikaflex when the summer arrives. Best product on the market for sealing caravans because it stays flexable and doesn't crack.

Does a great job would recommend

I have used sikaflex on a number of occasions as I own a motorhome and am always adding new items. The recent was for a set of 4 cameras placed on the roof of the van where I had to drill a fairly large hole through the roof for all the cables I fitted an IP68 box and run the cables out in all directions using sikaflex to fill the holes. Works brilliantly. Also I lost my skylight and had to fix a new one, with which I used sikaflex again, unfortunately I left a small gap where the rain penetrated but once sealed properly it is does a good job. My only gripe is I am the most messy of appliers and tend to get it everywhere and being silicone based it is hard to remove.

Bought it to reseal the skylights on our motorhome. .Husband said it was a bit fiddly to do on one skylight.Not the products fault . But very good with sticking and sealing making skylight waterproof

I am basing this opinion on only having used it in the last couple of days.It sticks, it seals and it's very very messy!So far so good, using it to help stick CCTV cameras to the outside of our Motorhome. Seem to have worked for now. Time will tell.Great stuff albeit, expensive.

Well worth the money, when it comes to sticking things on the roof of my T4 (solar panel, waterproof seals etc.) I didn't want to cut corners ad Sikaflex does a brilliant job. Had no movement or peeling back whatsoever of things I have stuck down with this.

If you're resealing your caravan, installing a WiFi antenna or TV aerial on the roof, this is the product you want!This I believe replaces the 512 and is exactly the same quality just without a toxic chemical removed, having used 512 in the past this has the same consistency and the quality finish is achievable.
