I live in Texas and ordered in July. They came in a box lined with styrofoam and double bagged with a cool pack. The water was cold the fish looked healthy and active. They gave two extra fish and they were a nice colorful selection. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. They have been in my pond for a week and are doing great. Thank you Toledo goldfish!

The long-time-resident Comets even seem to have perked up and stepped up their game since the arrival of the youngsters! (That's more food than I would normally give at a time but I wanted everyone to come in and hang around for me to catch the video.) Very pleased with Toledo Goldfish! ***Day of arrival review: The fish were safely packaged and delivered on time. I like that they put a big yellow sticker on the outside of the box with clear instructions on how to equilibrate the water temperature and then release the fish, I knew how to do this but I'm sure others may not and having that on the outside can prevent some big errors. The fish are exactly as described, very nice specimens with a mix of lovely colorations. They arrived healthy, active and vigorous and when I released them one by one they all seemed ready to zoom around quite happily. From release this morning to frequent rechecks through the afternoon they still appear to be doing fine - I'll add an update to this in a few days but so far I'm very pleased!

This order was for 10 LIVING fish. every single one was dead, boiled and stinky and disgusting when i opened it the minute I opened the Fed Ex box, mere moments after delivery. Unacceptable, horrific death for the fish. I cannot return dead fish by post which seemingly is my own 'return' option!! Do not buy fish like this.

Buying fish online was a bit of an internal struggle but all the fish suppliers in our area had EMPTY inventory week after week and we just finished our water garden and desperately wanted to have some little fish friends to enjoy it. These fish are BEAUTIFUL, great quality happy thriving little guys who are having a blast in our pond. Thank you to this company for finishing off our water garden with happy little friends! Bonus, we bought some tiny feeder comets that we thought we lost (all the store had a few weeks ago but now that tank that usually has 1000s of fish is empty as well) and we can see them today swimming around with the shubunkins now that they aren't as afraid to come out of the rocks! Don't hesitate to buy from this company, it was a great experience!

I was skeptical about ordering live fish in the middle of a Georgian summer, and having no great way to quarantine new fish before adding them to the pond, additionally apprehensive. I received 11 beautiful, healthy shubunkin in an appropriately cooled, insulated container (they included an extra fish ‘just in case’). They all acclimated quickly, and joined their older brethren in the pond actively and happily. It has been several weeks now and all the new fish as well as the older ones remain active and thriving.I would definitely order again from this company.
