Great Product, My grandson loved it.
This is a great little bike that grows with the child. It's a tricycle for the little ones and converts to a big wheel, when the child gets older. It was easy to assemble. It is very sturdy. A good deal for the money.

Great quality, but too big for 2-year-old
This trike is built to last, and the conversion between trike and big wheel is very easy. The weight distribution is great so that it doesn't seem like the trike will turn over very easily (which is a concern with the cheaper, lighter tricycles available). However, we bought this for my son's 2-year-old birthday. He is tall for his age, but wasn't able to reach the pedals when fully extended. He still likes sitting on it and walking it around. I think he will really enjoy it once he is tall enough.

My nephew loves this 2 in 1 Trike
I bought this for my nephew, who would then pass it on to his brother & then my neice and whoever else is born. We tried it as a Big Wheel, but my nephew's legs were not long enough yet (he just turned 3 this summer), so my brother in law changed it to a trike & it works great! We took it to the boardwalk in Rehoboth and he just had a blast going down the boardwalk, coming back my Mom & I held it (lol!) but it was light enough and no problems. It is really a great item & would highly recommend it and easy to switch back & forth (of course I don't do that, but I didn't hear any complaints from my brother-in-law - so all is good).

DANGEROUS!!!
Parent's please be careful! We got this trike for our daughter for her 3rd birthday ans I was so excited for her to use it... Well when she got on the trike, and was just sitting there, the trike proceeded to tip over- causing my daughter to fall off and bust her lip open. Not exactly a great way to celebrate your birthday! I ended up taking her to the ER because I couldn't tell where the blood was coming from at first and wasn't sure if the fall had knocked a tooth loose. Thankfully she was wearing a helmet and was ok- just a big hole in her lip. Take it from me- search for a better (safer) trike!

Dangerous design
This trike fits my son perfectly (2.5yrs, 38"+ tall) in the upright position so I know he will use it for at least two years. It is sturdy and easy to assemble but the rotation clamp is an accident or injury waiting to happen. A metal clasp is just in front of the seat. It has a large lip on it so the clasp can be opened to reveal the release button. The aluminum clasp's lip position will tear through the pants (or skin) on a kid who is sitting just forward on the seat/neck of the trike in the upright position. In addition to the large lip of the clasp, the button releases too easily. My son has had the trike for less than 24 hours and he has already had 2 close calls just from applying pressure on one handle during dismount. My son weighs no more than 35lbs and he's not manhandling the trike. He is slow and cautious with his new toy and isn't applying excessive pressure; the rotation point is weak. In the other position (for much taller kids) the clasp is far away from the seat and I don't see how this position would be dangerous but the release of the rotation mechanism will remain an issue. My husband plans on drilling a screw through the rotation point to prevent any surprises.

I do recommend buying a helmet it is tall and if you ...
The trike ride wells. The stickers didn't stay on past the first day and we have taken them off or they fell off. My child is big for his age 2.5 and has just gotten to were he can reach the pedals and enjoys riding it. I do recommend buying a helmet it is tall and if you turn to tight it will fall as with any bike.

3 year old LOVES this!
For Christmas we had purchased a motorized cycle for our 3 year old son. After 2 uses, it died...so we looked for something more reliable. This trike is awesome! He's average height for his age and had no trouble reaching the pedals in either configuration. His favorite is the "big wheel" setting, he zips around the house like crazy and usually has a few stuffed animal "passengers" on the back. Even his 8 year old big brother likes to sneak in a ride when he thinks no one is looking. I would highly recommend this. It's also very easy to change back and forth between configurations.

Great for toddlers!
Purchased for our 4 year old grandson. Very sturdy, easy to put together and an ingenious design giving you the ability to make it into 2 different types of riding vehicles. Love it!
