The unit is quite sensitive. I use mine to decode Morse Code with a program i'm writing in Python. People ask me if it can be directly wired. I should imagine that if you remove the microphone and match the impedance the answer would be yes.

Works perfectly
I’ve used in an arduino project and it functions perfectly. The digital output is HIGH when sound level is quiet and LOW when it’s loud. You can adjust the threshold using a small screwdriver. These are excellent value for money.

Was looking a simple “loud” or “quiet” but the sensitivity was very hard to adjust and unstable

Worst sensitivity ever
The sensitivity slider on this is useless. I got the 5-pack so I tried this with all 5 and they all did the same thing, if you put the sensitivity slider in the middle it activates on nothing, there are no sounds in the room and it still finds something to activate on, and if you make it just SLIGHTLY less sensitive it stops activating on anything and you're in luck if it hears you yell.The only reason this isn't 2 star is because it was cheap and was quickly delivered, credit where credit is due i guessdont buy this

Wir haben neue Türklingel Anlagen bekommen und man konnte keine Funkweiterleitung mehr an klemmen. Aber mit diesem Modul geht das trotzdem mit ein Akustisches Signal und es läuft auch schon ab 3 Volt

Lo mejor es que se puede regular la sensibilidad mediante el potenciómetro que lleva. Lo peor: el micrófono que sobresale de la placa ¡, está expuesto y puede quebrarse la conexión a la placa.
