Hole Shots are much quicker then 3 blade. You may loose a couple MPH but who the hell cares, the launch is whats fun...Good product, easy install & should always have one on hand when fishing etc...

I believe the sales "pitch" (pun intended) that you can match these pitch for pitch with the 3 blade. I swapped out my 3 blade Black Max 19P and picked up a 19P & 21P Spitfire. Hole shot is much better, handling at all speeds is significantly better, and I only lost a few MPH on the top end with no significant change in max RPM (other than the pitch change). I am turning the prop with a Merc 4.5 200 Alpha 1 with 1.62:1 ratio in a 19 foot bowrider.

The 4 blade prop does seem to get me into plane faster and do better in turns. I have not compared a Mercury prop to another brand, and the one replaced the original 3 blade Black Max, but this is genuine Mercury and top quality.

Replaced 14.5x19 on 4.3 Merc on 195 Stingray. Live in high altitude, 6400ft. Hole shot improved significantly,40% faster, while cruising speed rpm were lovered by 200 rpm. Good gas savings. I lost WO speed by 6 mph which is a good trade off for me. Holds on plane in lover speed. Measurements done by GPS.

Upgraded from a chewed up 3 blade. This 4 blade gets me out of the hole just like I was hoping! Very smooth prop

Perfect option for my boat. It's on a 24 foot 4500 lb. Boat and the 4blade design helps it perform in a broad rpm range

Just as advertised. Excellent price for a premium product. Well packaged and delivered promptly.I had no problems fitting this new prop to my ski boat and I don't know whether its true but I fell that the boat performs better.Awesome.

It's a perfect pitch for 21' Chaparral H2O with 4.3 MPI Alpha Gen 2 1.65; however, I don't like how it sings at low RPM.
