Spectrum Diversified 55810 Scroll Grande Utensil Holder, Black

I have one of these and I bought a 2nd one to go with my new kitchen. Wellmade and goes well with any decor.

Made of good firm metal and very large, holds lots of utensils.

I like the look of this whole line of kitchen accessories. But the utensil holder has some design flaws. The black rods are to far apart to hold the utensils in the holder. The handles slip through the rods and just won't stay neatly standing up in the holder which is the purpose... Right? I liked it enough to not send it back and it goes with the other pieces of the collection. So to fix this issue I took some black ribbon and wove it in and out of the robs around like basket weaving, about half way up the rods. It closed of the bottom of the holder enough to keep the handles from slipping out. It didn't detract from the look at all and now is functional. My complaint is I shouldn't have had to have done that. All they had to do was make the metal lip around the bottom just a couple of inches higher and it would have been fine.

This is really nice, well made and heavy. It is also much bigger than I thought it would be and much bigger than my other utensil holders. This is about double the diameter of other utensil holders so it holds a lot more utensils. I bought a large jar to sit down in it to hold the utensils as they tend for the handle of the utensils to go out through the open areas of this holder. It is very pretty and goes well with all of my other black metal scroll stuff in my kitchen. Highly recommend.

Ditto what the other reviewers are saying about the utensils slipping out of the bottom - and that's whether it's just a few utensils or it's jam-packed. I agree with the other recommendations that just another inch or so of metal on the bottom would have solved that problem without taking away from the appearance. I was planning on buying the companion piece to this - a slimmer crock in the same style - to use for some of my sink utensils (assorted scrub brushes), but I changed my mind after the experience with this one. What a big disappointment - and what a royal pain to have to constantly reinsert/rearrange the utensils to get them to stay in the crock.

OMGosh! This is bigger than I thought but I'm sooo happy about that! My husband of 22yrs died 7/04/2019 & I'm waiting for the coronavavirus to left so I can sell this house that's too big for my kid/cat Lucy & two newly adopted baby boy parakeets, Bobbie & Andy. So b4 I move I'm buying everything new for my forever kitchen & donating what i have now. I could not be happier with this purchase & I recommend it 100% !!! Thank you Amazon!

I was shocked when I received this it was much bigger around than I expected. It looks nice on my countertop.
