Asciiware Genesis Fighter Stick SG-6 6 Button Arcade Joystick with Turbo & Slow Mode for Sega Genesis

One of the main reasons Street Fighter games are better on the Genesis than the SNES is this controller. Besides offering this fight stick Genesis was the first to offer their revolutionary 6 button controller. Back to this stick and what can I say, I love it. The buttons are very functional and I love the fact that it has only 6 buttons. Todays fight sticks typically have 8 buttons and talk about over doing it! Thank fully the Genesis being old as it is kept things simple with this 6 button design. The games play very well with this controller that is as functional as it is compact. Any one who wants to experience the real fun that the genesis can offer (especially with their Street fighter games) should buy this stick. It is freakin great mon, great!

I got this for the atgames Genesis console. It works great with all the preloaded games, and with my Mortal Kombat and MK2 cartridges. The only game I have trouble with is T2 the Arcade Game where the response on the d-pad is very slow, so I definitely need to keep my other controller for that game...The build quality is solid, and I like the turbo feature during the Test Your Might mini games on the original Mortal Kombat. The joystick has a nice feel to it, and the orientation of the buttons give it that perfect arcade feel while playing, whether it be fighting games or sidescrollers. I would definitely recommend this to any fellow retro-gamers.

Unit had rust on the bottom plate, the joystick occasionally don't function. Basically u get wat u pay for. Would not buy from this vendor again
