Perfect for working or art
Love this sturdy clipboard. It had lots of room for colored pens or pencils. I use it mostly while teaching, but in the summer time I know it will swap over for art supplies. I wish it came in more colors, but the grey can be painted on if you have paint markers 😉

Like a Hard Travel Binder
Good for storage. It does not stay latched, but it is mostly when a drawing pad is loose inside. The black utensil holder can hold up mechanical pencils, pens, and fine tip sharpie by inserting the pen-like-handle through a loop.

Spacey storage clip board
High quality storage clip board. It’s a bit larger than I thought but it still very nice. I wish they offered a smaller size as well. Plenty of space to store all your drawing implements.

Must Have for an Artist!
I love this Sketch Board! It has storage inside, so I can bring everything I need with me if I want to do some sketching or water coloring when I am not in the studio. I can hold a 18 color palette, watercolor paper, brushes, pencils, erasers, a small water misting bottle. Everything I need. It fits inside my backpack purse so it is easy to bring with me anytime I need it. I totally recommend it and wish I had purchased it sooner! It also works great for storage of my supplies, and I keep things in there that I need for on the a quick outing! It also works wonderful for traveling because of it’s support and wont let things inside get damaged.

Art case
Excellent product and very well designed. Have been asked by many others where I got it from so I’m happy that others thought it was great looking and purposefully designed

More of a rebadged contractor clipboard and storage
I was excited to order this and it was to be a gift for a budding serious artist. My thought was that it would be a handy all in one setup for doing sketches without having to keep track of materials in separate containers, clipboards, etc. However as a few others have stated, it has design defects that make it rather unsuited for this purpose. The first thing I noticed is that the clips are not large enough to hold quality student 9x12 sketchbooks. Canson XL Mixed Media (60 pages @ 98 lbs, side bound wire) slips out. This more or less kills the entire stated purpose, leaving it more of a storage box. However, the interior has support molding that rests against the top right edge of the sketchbook. This will cause wear and tear at the corner of the pages, meaning the sketchbook doesn't fit properly. The interior might fit top bound, but the clip would still not be large enough.Canson and Strathmore basic 50lb sketchbooks have 100 pages. The product photos show a top wirebound thin sketchpad being used with it. I suspect it would only work with thin paper under 50 lbs which are not used much except in cheap products. I get the impression it was designed for generic bigbox 8.5x11 office notepads and just happens to be oversized enough to barely fit a few random 9x12's.Next, the plastic was molded with a dimple in the center on both sides. This makes it unsuitable to be used with single sheets, but there is also too much flex on the surface for it to be used for this purpose.Overall, it's not really suited as a clipboard for art sketchbooks. The Canson XL series is an art student line, and not even as heavyweight as you can go for use with specific mediums.Other things: I came across a near identical product with a different companies name on it and a different interior insert that was marketed as a contractor clipboard/storage container. It seems it is likely the design is just rebadged or a copy.Lastly, when the unit arrived, the zipper to the lower pouch was open and the hinge was closed on the zipper tab, leaving it bent. This pouch is also very tight, causing it to strain just to hold typical erasers and sharpeners.Despite it's marketing, it's basically just a narrow storage box and not particularly good at that even. I feel most would be better served with a masonite sketchbook clipboard, a pen case, and a portfolio to store finished pieces.I really wanted to like it, but the concept needs to be reworked. I will likely send it back.
