This seasoning slaps! It’s good, even more surprising that it has a noticeable amount of heat to it. I like to cook steak and just add this seasoning to it at the end as a dry rub dip. Or coat fish with it and pan fry. Price point seems fair for the amount you get,

My husband grew up in Hawaii where kimchi was a food staple. He loves this. He has put it on many dishes. I also enjoy it. It is quite spicy, so if you don't like heat it may not be for you.

Three days in and I pretty much just put this on everything now.

I love, love, love the flavour of this seasoning, however, it's absurdly spicy. Reading the reviews this confused me greatly, because it had been mentioned multiple times that the spice wasn't too much. I adore spicy foods and normally have no issues, but when I mixed this to make Kimchi sauce I had to water it down so much it was almost soup. I'm a huge fan of red pepper paste and mix Togarashi into literally everything I eat so I'm no stranger to heat. The flavour is so delicious so I'm definitely giving it 4 stars, but I have to take off a star due to the extreme spice. I don't know if I had an off batch, but my tongue was sore by the end of eating. Eyes watering, nose dripping, burned the whole way down. I just want to give people a warning if they're expecting a mild spice. I'm going to continue to experiment with it, but using it as a base for Kimchi sauce wasn't happening unfortunately.

Growing up eating spicy food means as an adult everything just tastes better with some spice. This mix is perfect for adding that extra element. There's no flavor clash in my experience - I love it on pizza and on tacos and on chips (see tip below). I was inspired to try this after becoming addicted to KIMNORI Korean BBQ flavored seaweed. My gosh that's my favorite snack ever and since my local Costco switched to carrying the sea salt flavor instead, I've been looking for alternatives (still regularly ordering directly from KIMNORI on their website). I inspected the KIMNORI stuff to understand how they make it so good and whether I can find a way to replicate flavor at home. I'm still on this journey but OMG I'm so happy to have found this. Tip: add it to Pirate's Booty! I just shake some right into the bag and then shake up the bag (I get the box of 40 from Costco which has the small bags - am a very snackish person after smoking so I always keep portioned options on hand). Super good.

Arrived quickly. I am disappointed because, to me, it primarily adds heat and not flavor. I love Kimchi, but this didn't remind me of it. Just because I was disappointed, doesn't mean you'll be.

This is a punchy seasoning for just about anything you eat. It has a good spicy kick without blowing your tongue to shreds. I like that it's balanced flavor while giving complex layers. I use it on fried rice, noodle bowls and chicken.
