Mattel Ever After High Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman Fashion Doll, 2-Pack

This is the first Ever After High 2-pack, and it is amazing!! Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman are secretly dating as one is a royal and the other is a rebel. They each come with bookmarks that tell a story, a stand, and there is one brush included. Here's the look at the individual dolls.Hunter:Hunter has felt flocking all around his head and heavily gelled hair draped to the right framing his face. He has a great face mold as well as a nice body mold. Hunter wears a forest-printed tank top under a faux leather vest with green at the bottom and forming 3/4 sleeves with cuffs. The vest has a two-toned design with a different pattern on the back, has cords hanging from the hood, and the hood fits very well over his head but could mess up his hair. Hunter's pants resemble worn khaki pants after a day in the woods and a silver charm is attached to one of his belt loops. Also, Hunter has worn "leather" hiking boots with black shading. He wears a "leather" cuff bracelet and has a stitched-together bag with a silver cross design in the bottom right corner. Overall, Hunter is very detailed and a great first boy doll for Ever After High!Ashlynn:Ashlynn is another amazing doll and has long, wavy light brown hair with a bump at the top and a braid circling across the top of her head. She wears a pink headband with birds and a feather design all around it. I am not sure if her face is a different mold than the other original dolls since I just started collecting EAH and have not compared the dolls in-depth. Ashlynn's dress is really cute; it has a pink, white, and turquoise floral print on the bodice and skirt. Over the top is a sparkly turquoise fabric with gold trim and the skirt features a turquoise fish-net overlay with gold vine and flower designs on it. the sleeves are pink at the top and turquoise fish-net is added to them. The real eye-catcher is Ashlynn's shoes; clear turquoise "glass slippers" with floral detailing and vines trailing up her legs. Ashlynn's jewelry is all gold; she has a bird ring, shoe earrings, a necklace with birds flying around a clock, and a charm bracelet with different shoes on it. Her purse is a gold clock with a sticker face on the front; it does not open.So there you have it-the Ashlynn and Hunter 2-pack. It retails for around $35 but is usually less expensive online. The only issue is that Hunter has some white gel that dried on his felt hair and tiny white flecks of it in his real hair. Overall, I definitely recommend this set for Ever After High fans but you should look it over if you can before buying in store!

Ashlynn Ella & Hunter Huntsman are a royally rebellious couple. They are only available together through this 2-pack and absolutely lovely.The box looks like a story book is half pink, for Ashlynn, and half green, for Hunter. It has both their respective story bookmarks. In the box you get Ashlynn, wearing her light blue, floral printed dress. The top has specks of sparkle. She has a pink "leafy" headband, gold shoe earrings, a gold necklace with a pendant that I can't figure out what it is. She has a gold bird ring, gold charm bracelet, a gold clock purse, with the time almost hitting midnight and "glass" shoes with "vines" that wrap up to her knees. Her hair is blonde and half pulled up into a bun with a braid wrapped around like a headband. You also get Hunter with both sides of his hair "shaved" and the rest gelled over to one side. He is wearing a foresty printed tanktop with a green and "leather" jacket over top. He has tan jeans with a plastic silver keychain, brown boots, brown bracelet, and a cross the body bag that can open. You get one gold key hairbrush, a clear backed gold stand for Ashlynn, and a clear backed silver stand for Hunter.They both have lovely face paint. After staring for sometime I noticed that the eyes on mine are slightly misaligned. They both fit in their stands well. Besides the bracelets, their clothes can be changed without removing hands, although hand removal would be alot easier for putting Ashlynn's dress back on since her fingers can get caught.Negatives: Ashlynn's hair is a bit messed up from the box. Hunter's gelled hair can be a problem for some people. The ties that they use to hold the heads in place are really hard to get cut close enough to push into the head. They need to stop attaching all the dolls that way.Overall these two are a great addition to my collection. They are super cute together and have lovely details that just make them look awesome. I think Ashlynn is the prettiest doll in my collection and Hunter is pretty sweet too. I recommend them.

These dolls were a gift from "Santa" to my daughter for Christmas. She was so excited to get them and I was thrilled with the quality and work into these dolls. To say that they are gorgeous wouldn't even come close to how beautiful these dolls are. From his Ranger style boots to her faux glass "wrap" slippers these dolls are full of little details that make them truly works of art (as opposed to just "play things").Ashlynn Ella is the daughter of Cinderella and as such is expected to live the life of royalty. Hunter is the son of the Huntsman (presumably from Snow White?) and he is expected to live the life of a Woodsman/Hunter. When these two fall hopelessly in love it defies custom and throws a giant curve ball at the whole Ever After world. I love how their starcrossed would-be lovers plight teaches young girls that elitism and being concerned with socio-economic status is not "cool" and that "true love" is the greater gift. It's not about what you can buy or what you have.
