Do you have any spare caviar on hand? What about beef tongue? Would you like to marinate pork belly for the next six hours before eating your drunk midnight snack? Do you just randomly happen to have been soaking two pounds of beef tripe for the past 24 hours?No? Then guess what, you can't make any of these "late night munchie" recipes.This is easily the most wildly incorrectly named cookbook in the history of cookbooks. Its presented as famous chefs making fun, greasy food in the wee hours of the morn after the bar has closed but the party is still going. That is NOT what you get. These are ludicrous, complicated, and in many cases not even appetizing recipes, and almost NONE of them fill the role of ooey-gooey-cheesy-late-night-munchie.There are maybe 4 - 5 total recipes in this book that actually fit the description of late night meals you'd make while drunk but want something a little more elevated from a serious chef.I got this for my wife for Christmas because she'd been looking at it forever, and when we finally got to reading through it to mine for recipes, I was legitimately angry that I'd spent money on this. Could somebody out there please release a legitimate version of this concept?

Huge munchies fan but let me tell you folks something. THERE IS RECIEPE FOR A HOT POCKET THE SIZE OF A SMALL CHILD AND IT THE GREATEST THING TO COME INTO MY LIFE EVER.

Bought out of curiosity as my wife and I generally eat small meals and often have a small snack at night, especially on weekends. This hardcover book includes about 60 food recipes plus some drinks. Food solutions range from cheese quesadillas to several types of wings to mint ice cream sandwiches to what-the-heck-is-that? Some of the entries, such as the bacon and gravy mac and cheese, would seem to be a little heavy for a late-night meal, but to each his own. Most of these recipes will make for a nice small dinner or lunch (or breakfast in some cases).The recipes are not very hard for the most part, but every cook will be missing some of the ingredients (and maybe a pan or two) for many of these, so it's worth planning ahead if something sounds good. Of the dozen or so recipes we've done so far, we've tweaked some for size (only two of us), a few for ingredients (when we were missing something), and so far they've turned out well. Beats having the same-old same-old when the munchies hit.Lots of pretty pictures of what the recipes should turn out looking like, but, hey, results may vary. Overall, a nice little addition to the kitchen.

I'm a fan of the YouTube channel and this delivers. It's got a lot of extra info in the anecdotes and annotations. The recipes tend to be esoteric but the handful I've tried are fantastic .A book of elevated, nicely off the beaten path recipes.

This might be one of the most unique cookbooks I have ever owned. The combinations and creativity of the chefs is phenomenal. I've made quite a few of these recipies for myself, friends and family and they have all received great results. Would recommend this to all levels of cooking skills. Something for everyone.

Feels more like a picture book than it should. I get that people like food pics, but it could use about 30-40% more actual written content.

Really great book. Being a chef myself it is kinda cool to see what other chefs prefer after a long day. Tried about a 1/4 of the recipes so far and cant wait to make the rest

I bought this book on a whim as I follow some of the chefs featured in it and saw the ads online. It is a decent book but a lot of the recipes are a little over the top. Not really everyday meals but hey, for late night munchies it will definitely do the trick.
