Greek Cuisine Cookbook: 50 Easy and Delicious Greek Recipes (Greek Recipes, Mediterranean Recipes, Greek Food, Quick & Easy) Review: Easy but Delicious Recipes - Always happy to see another cookbook by Patrick Smith because I learn new recipes and ideas from them. The Greek Cuisine Cookbook did not disappoint. I never thought to make Couscous for breakfast, especially adding fruit and nuts to it. Better than any cereal and healthier. Greek yogurt is my favorite: creamier, protein-ier, and tastier than the regular kind. Many of the recipes contain yogurt and it is so versatile that it is delicious in all types of meals for breakfast, snack and even with chicken or meat. Never thought I would like a Greek burrito but it was delicious. Being vegetarian, I left out the meat, but it was still excellent even though the seasoning was different than the Mexican style that I usually prefer. Although feta cheese is a favorite, I’ve never thought of combining it with lentils. I guess I tend to stick to conservative ways of cooking: lentils belong with curry, burritos belong with chili pepper, etc., but how much more exciting food tastes when I alter a few ingredients. Even cinnamon with feta tastes great! I always wondered what was the sense of small pieces of pasta such as Orzo but I see now that it is a low-cal way to feed the macaroni addiction without consuming huge slabs of flour that add on the pounds. I even learned the meaning of “edamame” by clicking the word in my Kindle. Although my meals are mainly soybean, I didn’t know that edamame is a dish of green soybeans boiled or steamed in their pods. That is what I plan to make next. Making you hungry yet? Good! Be sure to try Patrick Smith’s easy but delicious recipes. Review: this is not Greek cooking - This cookbook may have hints of Greece, but there are no grilled seafoods, hummus, taramasalata or other basic recipes. Don't bother

Greek and EASY!
If you love Greek food like I do, you'll appreciate this Greek Cuisine Cookbook. Get recipes for every meal. Greek cuisine is healthy and delicious, so start with a great breakfast of a pita pocket, or for the adventurous- zucchini feta pancakes-yum! For lunch, have a simple turkey burger with yogurt sauce and you can't go wrong. All the recipes in this cookbook are simple and easy to follow. Do yourself a favor and check out the Mediterranean and French cookbooks included, and learn to cook the foods of the world easily. I highly recommend this cookbook of Greek cuisine!

They use a lot of ingredients which are easily found at the local market and the recipes range in difficulty from those which can be completed in a few minutes to those which take a longer time to prepare. Missing a few Greek favorites
I was a bit disappointed in this cookbook. It was missing a few of my favorite Greek dishes such as Pasticio and Greek lemon soup.

Yummy yum yum & easy too!
I've only tried a couple of these recipies so far but they have been big hits with me and my husband. I am vegetarian and a lot of these recipies can be made to easily suit my diet. I have bookmarked so many of them to try but the ones we've sampled so far have already made repeat appearances in my kitchen. Easy to follow directions and simple ingredients, nothing too exotic or confusing to throw you for a loop. They say we should all be adopting more of a greek/mediteranian diet anyway. With such delicious food, why not?

Delicious Recipes!
I enjoy Greek food so I thought I’d give this cookbook a try. It is arranged by meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Side Dishes, Snacks. This makes it simple to select the recipe you need. The directions for each dish are written clearly, no having to guess about anything. All of the recipes look delicious; I will be cooking one of them right away. The ones I’m most interested in are: Zucchini Feta Pancakes, Grilled Turkey Burgers, Greek Roasted Chicken, Lamb Kebabs, Greek Lemon Rice, and Greek Cheese Puffs. This should be fun trying out dishes I’ve never cooked before.

I thought that was a disgusting and cheaply produced book with absolutely no illustrations whatsoever and on cheap paper. I should have realised that a Non-Greek would not know much about authentic Greek Cooking. All he has done is call his dishes Greek this and Greek that! Really not impressed! Since when was a Fritatta Greek? What I am more annoyed about is not only the cost of the book, but the cost of delivery and refund, therefore it hardly made a difference whether I kept the book, or returned it, but certainly not a book that I would want with my collection. I am actually surprised that Amazon are even selling this awful book and I don't normally write bad reviews!
