Precision Meets Comfort: Andis T-Outliner Beard & Hair Trimmer!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
As someone who takes grooming seriously, I’ve been on a constant search for a reliable, effective, and comfortable trimmer. The Andis 04710 Professional T-Outliner Beard & Hair Trimmer didn’t just fulfill these needs; it went above and beyond! In this review, I’ll guide you through my experience with this outstanding trimmer, and shed light on why it’s the ultimate grooming essential in my routine. 🔧 High-Grade Build Quality: Upon unboxing, the sturdy design immediately caught my eye. It’s evident that Andis is serious about quality. The carbon steel T-blade ensures precision and durability, promising a long-lasting relationship between you and your T-Outliner. 💈 Precise and Efficient Trimming: The real joy of the T-Outliner lies in its superior performance. Whether it’s shaping the beard, maintaining the stubble, or getting that hairline just right, the precision is top-notch. The T-blade moves smoothly across the contours of the face, providing a neat trim in no time. 🚫 Bump-Free Technology: We all know how unpleasant skin bumps can be after a trim. But, with this T-Outliner, it’s a thing of the past! The bump-free technology ensures a smooth and comfortable trimming experience, every single time. 🔌 Corded, Uncompromised Power: Although some may prefer cordless models for flexibility, there’s no denying the consistent power that a corded trimmer like this one offers. It doesn’t leave you in the lurch halfway through your grooming routine, unlike some battery-operated counterparts. 💼 Professional or Personal: Whether you’re a professional barber or someone who loves a well-groomed look, this trimmer caters to all. Its performance remains unaffected by the demands of a busy barbershop or the occasional trims at home. Although I’m enamored with this trimmer, there’s one slight area where there could be room for improvement: 🎚️ Adjustable Combs: While the trimmer excels in many areas, it would have been great if it came with adjustable comb attachments. It would give more control over the length and finish of the trim. Nevertheless, the Andis 04710 Professional T-Outliner Beard & Hair Trimmer is truly deserving of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. With its reliable performance, precise cutting, comfort-enhancing technology, and consistent power supply, it’s a grooming ally worth having. Thank you for reading this review! I hope my experience helps guide your purchase decision. Here’s to effortless grooming and ultimate precision! 💈🌟

Excellent option for skin prone to irritation and razor bumps
06/09/2015 - My original review was written for a pair of these that I purchased for my son. I was personally using the Andis T-Edger, which I have used for numerous years. I never tried my son's T-Outliners but he eventually switched to a conventional razor due to military restrictions. However, even when he had the T-Outliner, he never seemed particularly enthusiastic about them. When I tried mine for the first time, I saw why. They cut okay but definitely nowhere as close or powerful a shave as the T-Edger. These run quiet and smooth and cut so-so but don't quite get that skin close feel. The T-Edgers are louder, feel more powerful and seem to cut better. In fact, I switched from this brand new Outliner to the seven-year-old Edger it was supposed to replace during the very first cut. Even at seven-years old, the Edger still seemed to cut better. Maybe it's personal preference but if you're on the fence over the Outliner or Edger for facial shaving and head balding, I definitely give my nod to the Edger. My son and I cannot use conventional manual or disposable razors due to razor bumps. Electric razors, especially the rotary type like Norelco, are just as bad. When we want a skin-close shave without bumps or irritation, nothing beats a good set of Andis edgers or outliners. I bought this set for my son and they work great. He even uses them for shaving before his monthly Army drills, so that should tell you how close they shave. You will get a shave just as close as a blade without going under the skin and inducing the growth of bumps. That doesn't mean bumps aren't possible. You can still get bumps if you don't clean, sterilize and lube the blades after each use. This inhibits the growth of germs and bacteria and keeps the blades sharp and smooth so they don't develop microscopic pits that snag hairs and cause bumps and irritations. Also, remember to always shave with the grain. Shaving against it will produce bumps, even with clippers like these.

Quality Trimmer
The Andis Professional T-Outliner Personal Trimmer appears to be of sturdy quality with good general overall appearence. It was initially ordered to replace an older maodel and has since met all my expectations and has replaced my hair trimmers as an all around groomer. This trimmer satisfactoraly handles all of my grooming needs as well as others in my household. I have personally found this model trimmer to perform better than some other brands that promised the same in the past but have never delivered.----I have since packed them all away; making room for my Andis Trimmer. I have mostly all praises for this trimmer with the only con being that the trimmer cannot truly be adjusted to trim bald/at skin level as it sometimes leaves some stubble at the surface and around hard to reach areas that I would rather have smoother. A small complaint yes, but overall a great performer day in day out and is perfectly adequate for any hair type.----Did I mention, no irritation from the trimmer blade either. Great for a quick line-up and trim around the ears, mustache and sideburns, I would recommend the Andis Professional T-Outliner Personal Trimmer to anyone looking for a quick & easy, reliable trim or shave to expedite their day.

Long Lasting Shaver
To give some perspective, I purchased this back in Feb 2011. I still have these clippers and they are just as effective as when I originally got it. I must stress that it is important that you use the clipper oil that it comes with and then once that runs out, buy some more clipper oil. You'd think that's a given, however there are a lot of people who easily overlook using the oil for the clippers and that's why the results aren't there. So I pretty much covered the durability factor for these, but in terms of use, they work really well and it's no surprise that these are a best seller. I hate jumping on the hype bandwagon, but these have proven their worth. I have annoyingly sensitive skin, so when I have to shave my face, I can only use these clippers to do it. I've tried double edged razors and I get tons of bumps. And yes I have done all the pretreatment, used glycerin soap, and used a good aftershave. I just cannot avoid the bumps, and thus is why I have to use these clippers. The clippers give a somewhat close shave, but I have to go over my face several times with it. Even when I trim my face several times with these clippers, it doesn't produce nearly the amount of bumps if I were using a blade. The clipper also does a good job of trimming hairlines. When cleaning the clippers, i've used rubbing alcohol and it doesn't seem to have done damage to the clippers. I never use water on it. And I make sure to wipe the clippers thoroughly and then use the clipper oil. I'd say this was a pretty good purchase and have saved me a considerable amount of money.

Very sharp, but they don't bite.
The clippers are well built, and they were brand new, with no hairs or any other evidence of someone having previously owned them, as others have stated. The weight is nice--they are weighty enough to suggest quality, but not so heavy as to be unwieldy or fatiguing. While they aren't the quietest trimmers, they're not as loud as say, the Oster 77 Classic clippers. I am aware it's not a apples to apples comparison, but it's the best point of reference can provide, not being a barber. My son is sensitive to loud noises, and they were not a problem for him. These trimmers are definitely professional grade, in my opinion. I've owned lots of Wahl and Osters that were the cheaper ones you can find at Target or Walmart (I'm a lifelong cheapskate), and they don't come close to these, in terms of providing a clean trim and a sharp, well-defined lineup. I'm not a particularly hairy guy--I can't grow a beard or full goatee, but the trimmers easily cleaned up the stray hairs under rny neck, and they made the sharpest, cleanest edge on my mustache and hair around my chin (I'll stop short of calling it a goatee, since it doesn't "connect" at the sides). The job I was able to do looked pretty good considering it was my first time using real trimmers. One last thing to point out was that these trimmers can be zero-gapped, meaning the oscillating blade and fixed blade can be aligned so that they are absolutely even with each other, so that they provide the closest cut possible. I did this with mine, and I didn't suffer any nicks or cuts on my skin. That's something that always happens at the barbershop, but not with these, and not by my hand. If you're on the fence, don't be afraid to jump down and make the purchase. They're worth it.
