You get what you pay for. No pintle for rod butt lets the rod slip out occasionly.

It doesn't have gimbals pin. It is not for conventional reel. The pad is so thin that I had to add another hard layer of material because of pain when I had a 30lb tuna.

wish I spent a little more on a better fitting one.
