Meffort Inc® 17 17.3 inch Neoprene Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle and Adjustable Shoulder Strap - Gray Black Swirl

I was going to give this sleeve 4 stars but I'll boost it up to 5 for Amazons 5 star customer service. I have a 17.3" Toshiba Qosmio Laptop that fits very well in the sleeve. It's nice and Snug at the bottom and sides with about an inch of room left at the top area. Even with the extra room at the top, my laptop will not move around because the overall fit is snug, they just give you a little extra room in case you need to thrown in perhaps your power cord etc. The external detachable should strap is what I love the most and the reason I purchased the sleeve in the first place. My others lack this feature. Hidden inside the sleeve up top where the zippers meet are the handles for hand carrying. That's where the 4 stars come in. If you are using the handles, you can only close the zipper until you reach the edge of the handle, which leaves a small portion of the sleeve open underneath the handle. It doesn't hinder the functionality but it would have been nice to include a fold over flap to cover the exposed portion underneath the handles. Small design flaw. So I push in the handles, zip the bag all the way and just use the shoulder strap if it's bad weather. If the weather is okay, it doesn't matter about using the handles. If you like this bag, this same company (Meffort)has a combo that offers not only the bag, but the matching mouse pad, the matching kindle or ipad skin and the laptop wrist skin all in one bundle for just a few bucks more. The only difference is that you have to order from the company direct. I actually ordered from them first and didn't' realize Amazon had this one with prime but it didn't have the extra's.

I really like this sleeve. It's not a general-purpose carrying case, just a protective sleeve that has handles and a carrying strap if you need them. I use it for my MSI Dominator Dragon, and it has been a huge help. Pranksters in my dorm have been setting off fire alarms all semester, and being able to quickly put the laptop into this and safely carry it out (rather than leaving it behind in a building that may be on fire) is a big help.The handles and general construction seem adequate to handle the weight of the MSI (nearly 10 pounds), although it probably wouldn't be a good idea to travel with it as the only case, or haul it around campus. And, of course, it looks cool. For it's primary purpose, protecting the laptop from scratches in the backpack carrier I have for traveling with the laptop, it has worked perfectly.I haven't used the shoulder strap, it seems adequate but would probably cut into your shoulder if you were using it for long. Of course, if you really had to, you could snap on a different strap with a wider/thicker cushion.

Nice to find a sleeve with both a handle and a shoulder strap. Beyond that, of course I wanted a practical carrying case for my monster 17-inch laptop, something lightweight that would offer some protection. But I also wanted something bright and distinctive in case a thief tries to walk off with it. No one would pay any attention to a guy carrying a black computer case, but a bright pink? Much more likely. It also eliminates the seemingly innocent, “Gee, I thought that was my bag. Really. It look just the same.”Keep in mind this is not a heavy protective case. This is more like a light foam insulation -- it is a sleeve, not a case. If you want serious protection for drops, you will need to carry a much harder, thicker and heavier case.

Honestly, I absolutely LOVE the design. My only two problems I had with this was 1) the inside handles... a little useless if you want to zip up the case & keep your laptop secure especially while traveling. I've seen some of the smaller versions of this in the same company with the handles on the outside, better design ;) However the shoulder strap makes up for it! 2) the case itself was a touch thinner than I expected. Will it keep your stuff from getting scratched up, yes, but that's it. Add in another layer of neoprene & you might be a touch better.Why am I still happy, honestly I wanted the design, I have a great laptop carrier, but wanted to save some space since I was just going to shove it into my carry on anyway.

I was concerned that this case would not fit my 17.3" HP laptop, but my worries went unfulfilled when my case arrived in the mail. My laptop fits perfectly inside, but with no room to spare. If you are looking for a case in which you can also store a charger, mouse, etc., then this case is not for you. It is only a sleeve, and only fits the computer, so buyer beware! It is not extremely thick, but does offer some padding all around, and for the price I paid I was pleased at how sturdy it is. I'm not the type of person to haul my laptop with me everywhere I go, but I assume someone who is a bit rougher and carries their computer with them quite often may consider a stronger case.

It's a great bag, love the design on it. But, everything goes into on space, no pockets to separate things so your laptop doesn't get scratches from the power cords or mouse or anything else you put in with it.

Love this bag! 2nd time I've ordered one! Great for putting ipads and mac air or other lightweight laptops fit in great. Not a heavy enough bag for a heavy, thick, full size laptop. Has short handles on inside. Or you can attach the longer strap. Love the butterfly design. So many have asked where I get this bag. You can carry it around like a purse with other things in it with a thin laptop. And it's kind of micro fiber or rubber feeling, so it doesn't collect dirt/stains.
